Less than 30 mins to Sydney, 17 mins to the Wildlife Park, and 45 mins to the Fortress of Louisbourg. Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

Equipped with all the amneties of home for a nice stay , 2 queen bed's included and has lots of room including 2 bathrooms with showers in each. Units have a built in air exchange. The Cabot Trail is an hour away. Newfoundland ferry is 15 mins away. Great unit for 2 people or 4. The guesthouse has an adjoining door in the middle that seperates each unit.

I would recommend this location. everything was exactly as I expected. I felt very safe, relaxed, and comfortable here. Great location. It's a cozy apartment. Well priced. And the host was very responsive and helpful. Anytime we needed toilet paper, instructions, or fresh towels, Robbie got us what we needed. I would visit again.

A great space for a group with lots of room in the bedrooms and common areas. There was an issue with the fridge and internet during our visit but the host was fantastic to keep in contact and offer support. We would book this again for our annual trip to Sydney!

We all enjoyed having a coffee on the front porch overlooking the harbour with the Island Princess in port. The hot tub on the back deck was awesome. Jennifer was responsive to text messages and was proactive when we experienced a minor issue with the Wi-Fi internet. The house inside was clean and in good order. It is 5 mins away from the Canadian Coast Guard College .I would recommend staying at the Harbourview Retreat.

Laura’s home was exactly as described, very clean and had all the amenities you need. It is in a beautiful picturesque bay with incredible views - so peaceful and a great place to recharge. There are several options to enjoy the outdoors from a screened sunroom to an outdoor deck to chairs on the dock or around the fire pit. We made a day trip to Louisbourg Fort which is very close by and definitely worth the drive. I would highly recommend this Airbnb. Thanks Laura!
