Lone Heron Cabin on the Miramichi in Central N.B

PatrickRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Boiestown was home for me, and I was in the area for a family event. Jane-Ann's place was convenient and I always enjoy staying alongside the river where I grew up. The cabin is small, but comfortable and she included many nice touches (condiments, snacks, bug net, mosquito coils!). I had everything i needed. She was excellent to communicate with and more than patient and accommodating with my non-technical skills. I would stay here again.

Black Bear Lodge

KateRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our second time staying here. If you’re looking for a remote, rustic, peaceful stay - this is your place. But be prepared for a lot of mosquitoes. There were so many in fact that we couldn’t explore the property but the screened in porch with the wood stove was the highlight of our trip. We’ll book again. Mostly to say hello to the resident bunny who kept hanging around. We named him Roger in case you see him. Say hello from us.

Indigo Inn

CynthiaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The Indigo Inn gets four paws up from us! Grant and Juno were gracious hosts and the Indigo Inn is a little gem. It's secreted in a lovely leafy neighbourhood by the river--great for walking--and the accommodation is spotless and oh-so-comfy. Parking is right outside. We liked it so much, we've already booked a second stay on the way home so we could explore the neighbourhood and Fredericton.

Tiny Guesthouse for Countryside Adventures

SophieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great little spot to stay overnight. The backyard had a nice forest to walk in, however not too much around the area to do. The pictures were accurate, but don’t display how nicely they’ve renovated. It was small but great use of the space they had. Created a nice and cozy vibe. Only suggestion would be to add in a kettle, otherwise everything was lovely. The washroom was close, easy to locate, and had a great tub!

Cabin on the Nashwaak

WarrenRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Carrie and Roger have a beautiful oasis on the Nashwaak river that I am very grateful they feel to share. The accommodations were fantastic, everything was in its place, felt very fresh and new. Very impressed on how much is included in their cottage. From the welcome package treats to the fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, with extras in case you forget something. In was a great experience to which my kids were asking if we could move there within the first 60 seconds of pulling in the driveway. A real cozy feeling place to stay and very hospitable owners!! Would highly recommend and hope we can stay there again soon. 12out of 10 review. 5 stars for sure. Thanks again Carrie and Roger.

Warm, Inviting Room with Beautiful View

JohnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Several years ago we stayed at Diane's home and enjoyed it very much. In June 2025 we returned for a few days. As before she was welcoming and friendly and the accommodation offered was clean and quiet. Diane respected our privacy and each morning offered us coffee and homemade pastries. The landscape around her house included rock gardens, and natural and homemade pools of running water nestled among tall trees. What a peaceful place to spend a few days!
