La Bergerie gite’s natural setting offers breath-taking views of the neighbouring chateau and surrounding countryside. Our luxury retreat with pool is ideal for those seeking calm and relaxation. The farm also has several areas where you can walk, read, paint, write - even talk to the animals. Just a short drive or a cycle ride from the gite you will find charming villages, historic landmarks, rivers, vineyards, medieval towns and a wide range of activities! Do as much or as little as you want.

Le Gardien

Chateau de Grimard was built at the end of the 13th century and is immediately next to the River Lot. It is set amongst vineyards and sunflower fields, with 8 hectares of land all of which can be used by guests. The Chateau has 3 gites, all of which have sufficient privacy. Guests can swim in the river, kayak, and there is also a large shared salt walter swimming pool. The historic town of Puy L’Eveque is five minutes drive away. Bookings are accepted from a Saturday to a Saturday only.

The small gîte

Pretty detached stone house at the end of a small private hamlet in an 8-hectare estate surrounded by nature. The accommodation comprises a bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a living room with wood-burning stove and a well-equipped open-plan kitchen, and a private terrace with views over the countryside. Access to the shared swimming pool (without fence or lock) overlooking the meadow and forest for total relaxation. Please note: in July/August, bookings from Saturday to Saturday only.

A stream along the meadow, hiking trails and the nearby medieval village invite you to take a walk.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located on the Lot river. You will stay in an old watermill within walking distance of a picturesque medieval town. Relax in a deck chair on a private beach by the river. There is a 1 or 2 person modern unsinkable sit on top kayak with which you can paddle down the beautiful river.
