Lovely place, modern and tranquil bathroom. Nice touches with fresh eggs, milk, butter & bread. Kitchen came with air fryer, electric stove and microwave, all the basics required! Shame we couldn’t stay longer. Rick & Carol were friendly and made a point of introducing themselves and seeing if I needed anything.

Our stay went very smoothly. The house was perfect for what we needed & the location was ideal. The house was very clean & so comfortable. We were really pleased with our stay.

What a very special place. We were lucky enough to stay after a significant amount of rain so the waterfall was in full force. The sound of the rushing water was very loud and breathtaking. If you appreciate falling asleep to the sounds of nature, then this place is for you. Lovingly constructed from reclaimed timber, this cabin is rustic and charming in the best possible way. The towells were plush, the linen clean, the shower was hot and the cereal, milk, drip coffee and snacks were an appreciated extra touch. The bed was just okay as the mattress probably needs replacing soon. But this did not spoilt our stay. No TV - just sitting by the fire, roasting marshmallows and looking over that beautiful waterfall was exactly what our busy family needed. We'll definitely be back.

The accommodation was amazing. Modern and well appointed. The owners even stocked us up with fresh fruit, a cake and the pantry had more than we could have asked for in essentials. A great place for us to base ourselves when we were visiting family. We will definitely stay again.

We are returning guests! Chelmsford Cottage is perfect for our family of 8 adults: we enjoy the spaces both inside and outside the house as well as the quiet location. The 2 bathrooms are spacious and easy to use. The kitchen is kitted out for the functionality of home catering for a large family!

We loved this place. Clean and cosy. The basic provisions and loaf of fresh bread were much appreciated. Would love to stay again.

Karen is a kind and thoughtful host. The home is well presented with wonderful views. The home was spotless with a great shower and super comfy bed. Lots of thoughtful touches such as bottled water, eggs and breakfast items and catalogues with things to do and places to go. Only 15” from town but a million miles away from everyone. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
