Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Drummond Island

We stayed for one night while driving across the province. This place was a great surprise - the inside was pristine and homey and it was so convenient - right off the highway. We had lots of room for a family of four, and everything was new and clean. We took on the dinner recommendations and enjoyed our locally prepared meal. We were off early in the morning after a peaceful sleep. Will stay again!

This is a gem of a place. The house was amazing cradled in the woods. Serene atmosphere, beautiful and very cozy. This place was epitomized the definition of picture perfect. Everything was clean, neat and orderly. We had a great stay, we will definitely come back again. We had a stay to remember. The host is super nice, very responsive and left very clear instructions for the stay. The house is huge, very nice setting. The kitchen is great. The outdoors was definitely the highlight. We grilled some burgers and sat around the outdoor fireplace under the nightsky. I really can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks Ordel for hosting us. We had a wonderful time and experience.

Denise was awesome. She responded very fast. She helped us out when our other house canceled on us. Her house was in a great location directly on Mullet lake and the ability to tie our boat off to her dock during the day but also within 2-3 miles of the public boat launch so that we could pull the boat out at night was a huge plus. She does have a lift if you have a pontoon boat also. She also allows the use of the garage which was awesome to put our jet skis in at night as well. Would definitely stay here again. We really loved the view of the lake from the home. it was frozen while we were there and it was still very beautiful and relaxing. The home utself was very beautiful and spacious. I love that each of the beds are large. The beds are very comfortable. I actually began mattress shopping upon arriving back at home, because my bed isn't this comfortable. There are a large variety of pots, pans, dishes and utensils available to use. The checkout instructions also were very simple compared to many Airbnbs I have visited. I would highly recommend Doug's home and I plan to visit again for a longer stay when it's warm.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing great local recommendations. The location was perfect—quiet yet close to everything. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

With the recent storm, we weren't sure if our event was going to happen. Trisha was excellent with communicating. Our event continued as planned, and we had an excellent stay again. Too bad this was the last time the event is going to be held at the ice rink.

Great host Great place been here a few times and always the best even in the icestrom of (25) lost power host had a generator set up quickly. very peaceful place highly recommend

5 star out of 5 is not even close!!!! 10 out of 5 would be more accurate. You will not find a cleaner, more well- planned/ use of space, and friendlier hosts. Joanne and Tim went so far above and beyond with so many thoughtful, personal touches. From the fresh baked bread, custom selected wine, painted rock, and hand written thank you card, and it does not stop there. Plain and simple, if you are reading this review, book it now before it's too late, because I will never stay anywhere else if I am in the area. To all other airbnb hosts, these two have set the bar. Good luck even coming close.

This was the first place I stayed in as a married woman! It was quiet and nice for my husband and I.

Stephanie was a thoughtful host, easy to communicate and quick to respond. The apartment was equipped with everything you'd need and was so warm and cozy from the comfortable beds to the 'Franklin stove' gas heater. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The street was quiet and the grounds were lovely. It turned out that we had a personal connection to Stephanie and her husband which made our stay all the more amiable. I highly recommend staying at "Down the way from Duncan Bay'!

Peaceful and so cozy. A beautiful place to stay- we felt right at home. Really a cool place. The bed was so comfortable! Thanks for having us- It’s definitely on our places to return list !
