Holiday houses in Drâa-Tafilalet

Quel séjour enchanteur ! Se réveiller avec le doux chant des oiseaux, entouré par la beauté des montagnes et le murmure apaisant de l'oued, fut une expérience inoubliable. Le logement était parfait, offrant un havre de paix et de tranquillité. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour une escapade ressourçante au cœur de la vallée de l'Ourika. Un véritable coup de cœur !

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in Villa Madu. Het huis is nog mooier dan op de foto's. De slaapkamers zijn zeer luxe en het uitzicht is fabelachtig. De grootste plus is het hotel Riad Madu, dat ligt op loopafstand van het huis. We konden gebruik maken van het heerlijke zwembad (met uitzicht op de zandduinen) en hebben er 's avonds heerlijk gegeten. De staf van het hotel was zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk. Dit is een absolute aanrader, zeker voor gezinnen met kinderen.

We stayed for four nights, a family of 6 adults and 3 children aged 3, 5 and 8 years. The house is furnished beautifully in traditional Moroccan style and decorated with many ornaments, curios, and artworks. We were shocked on arrival by the property's palatial appearance, but soon settled in with the help of the guardian Mohammed and housekeeper Habiba. We thought it was self-catering but were informed by the host that if we bought the food then Habiba would cook for us. The cooking was to a high standard with extra luxuries like homemade cake, but what is prepared relies on what you provide and your instructions. We requested traditional Moroccan food. Mohammed and Habiba could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Mohammed is on call for any needs like taxis. The extensive garden of established plants and trees is illuminated by lanterns at night. The view of the lake and mountains is spectacular. The kids loved the swimming pool but must be supervised. Better than any hotel.

What a lovely week we spent in Adbou's beautiful villa! The pool and garden area are even more beautiful than the photos. We went with our 3 children (1, 4,5) and they all loved the villa. It especially worked well on the hotter days (27+) as the cold water pool was really refreshing, and the villa stays very cool inside. We needed to do quite alot of super market trips into Marrakech as there really isn't any other local shops- so definitely worth getting a rental car as it's a 30, sometimes 40 minutes trip each way. Abdou and his wife cooked me and my husband a meal on one of the nights which was a real treat. The garden is so beautifully kept and very private, with eating areas etc so we spent most of our time out there. Inside the kitchen had everything we needed (although I struggled with the drip coffee machine!) and showers get nice and hot. WiFi comes in and out but worked well most days. I hope we will be able to come back again!

Amazing place some kilometres away from busy touristy Merzouga with everything you need. Exactely what we were looking for 🙏

After three nights in Marrakech, arriving in the Ourika valley at Ouadia’s place was a dream come true. It was so spacious for our family of five, plus my sister and husband. The views from the terraces are just magical - I could watch the mountains all day. And the pool was a wonderful treat. You can walk to the main road to buy simple groceries and shop for pottery and rugs, and you can easily enjoy day trips - we went for a hike in the mountains with a guide they arranged (highly recommend) and to the Setti Fadma waterfalls and Anima park - all of which were brilliant! But maybe the best thing about this place was Karim who took the best care of us and we loved morning breakfasts and the BEST tagine.

The host was extremely helpful and friendly. The 3 apartments were very clean and had everything you could wish for in a rental apartment. It is located in a beautiful location with wonderful views from the balconies. Quiet and peaceful. Located right above a restaurant and cafe that served great food and coffee for good prices. I would love to stay again in the future. Thank you so much!!!
