Family-friendly holiday rentals in Downtown, Columbus

Scheduled post-Christmas trip to Hocking Hills cabin. This is a beautiful place and very private. Very cool log cabin interior and exterior. Nice furniture and set up. Beds were firm, not super comfortable, but still good. Hot tub worked well and was nice touch. They had a small Christmas tree which was a nice touch. Having three bathrooms was good. Less than 20 minutes to Logan and hiking trails. Would book again.

We rented this cabin for our 10th wedding anniversary. It was perfect for our weekend d getaway and delivered what we were looking for...relaxation and peaceful. The cabin itself was beautiful, then add in a hot tub, and a great space for a fire pit and game room in the basement! We will definitely rent from Jon again in the future!! 1000% recommend this cabin and renting fromJon!

Everything was perfect, no complaints the hot tub was really nice to relax and the staff on the campgrounds were super friendly.

We went here for a quick weekend trip it was stunning and clean we had so much fun it’s not too far away from town we visited the child’s museum and got to see all the ice sculptures we ate at yummy places this was just what we needed check in and everything went pretty smooth ! We have zero complaints!!!! Thanks a lot for an awesome experience

Amazing cabin. Brand new, we had to have been one of the first guests. Completely private even with no leaves on the trees! It was very peaceful. We enjoyed a fire, the hot tub, playing the games downstairs, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Sitting on the deck looking at the woods was great. 10/10 would book again!

My family had an amazing stay at Nick and Bethany’s cabin. The house was spotless, comfortable and private. It looked exactly like it did in the pictures. The location was perfect. It felt secluded yet it was close enough to restaurants and activities that the Hocking Hills area offers. It was nice to have functional pots/pans and a good weber grill for once - a rarity for Airbnbs. The only criticisms we had were that the bath towels were a bit small and there could have been some extras (there might have actually been extras but we couldn’t find any). Also, the hot tub jets didn’t work as well as we thought they could have. It seemed like it had a hard time keeping temperature. Overall, the positives far outweighed the negatives. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Where do I start? Gina right now holds the #1 spot for me as being the best host on Airbnb. She was super responsive, very friendly, understanding, helpful, considerate, and generous. She was able to answer questions, provide information to me I asked for, helped explain how to operate an appliance and even offered an alternative if it didn't work, in addition to truly making me feel like I was renting a space from a family member rather than a business. The place was cozy and comfortable and I was able to do some work at the residence while I stayed with the adjustable desk. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend Gina as a host and look forward to booking again on my next trip to Columbus.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Marge’s place. It was a beautiful, homey space with everything you’d need. Her neighborhood felt safe and was very quiet. We would definitely stay there again if we are back in the area!

We loved our stay here! Ingrid and Mike were incredible and communicated proactively to make the stay that much easier t enjoy with more time relaxing and less time asking questions. The location is perfect to walk to campus as well as to multiple venues which makes it ideal. We would definitely stay here again!

WONDERFUL Airbnb - like wow! Myself and my two employees stayed here while we were vendors at Sonic Temple. The airbnb was LOVELY!!!!! So clean, great layout, nice backyard, COMFY beds, lots of amenities, and walking distance to a lot of great shops. We loved Habibi Grill and Flowerchild Vintage. They have a book on the table with reccs in the neighborhood. I left a stuffed animal here and they’re even shipping it back to me! The hosts were attentive to any requests I had. Will definitely come back next year!

Tina's home was perfect for my family's trip to Columbus for Christmas! I live two streets over in a very small place and hosted my sisters while my parents and brother had the luxury of staying in Tina's home. Fresh baked cookies were waiting for my parents when they arrived! The house was gorgeous with beautiful decor and plenty of space for our Christmas Eve and Christmas day dinners. The entire home was well equipped with everything we needed including plenty of televisions with cable for Christmas movie and football game watching! My parents were comfortable and loved staying here. I highly recommend Tina's home for anyone visiting the area!

My sister and I stayed here while in town for a funeral. It was the perfect place for us. We wanted something nostalgic as we grew up with our grandparents home just a few blocks away. Strolling the neighbor and getting Jeni’s ice cream daily was just what our hearts needed during this sad visit. Parking was right in front of the house on Whittier St. I loved how there always seemed to be a spot for us. The sofa bed was actually the only sofa bed I’ve ever slept in that was comfortable. It had a memory foam mattress. There were plenty of towels and the linens were luxurious and so soft. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us.

Gretchen went out of her way to make our stay more comfortable. The location was great, you can walk right into the cute little town. The place is neat and wonderful.

The apartment is extremely cozy (but surprisingly spacious) and in a great location. Nate is extremely responsive and super helpful as well, great guy. Be careful at Brown Bag Deli, you'll have to force yourself to not go every day of your stay!

Fantastic location, super cute place and very friendly & responsive host! This place is a perfect location in German Village -- walk to many great cafes, stores and restaurants. Very comfortable place -- warm and inviting. Brittany is very nice .

We loved “779 Unique” for our stay in Columbus! It is in an area that is close to many nice restaurants on High Street. The area has a safe feeling and we enjoyed the architecture of the buildings around us. It was close to the Ohio State Expo/Fairgrounds as well. It was exactly as described, very clean and communication was great between the us and the hosts. They were very kind and helped get us street parking as the construction one street made it hard to get to the alley and my elderly mother liked going straight in the front door. Bedrooms were spacious. The master bath is amazing with 2 shower heads! The kitchen is well appointed with all you need to cook a meal in if you want to stay in a night. The Main Street it sits on is a little traveled so it can be a little noisy for the front upstairs bedroom at times but nothing a sound machine app on your phone and/or earplugs won’t fix (if you’re a light sleeper). We definitely would rent again!

Excellent stay at an unbeatable location. The space is a charming old house that perhaps might be needing paint work in the coming years, but that is truly the only potential criticism I can think of. The home is extremely spacious, clean, well appointed, utilities work great, very comfortable beds and furniture. Everything is as described, parking on the street is freely available but just be ready to be somewhat competitive for prime parking spots. Beautiful charming neighborhood, a fairly short walk or Uber to High Street in the Short North, very pleased with this find.

First of all, hello, I stayed in this house for 13 days and I did not encounter any problems. The house is very clean and tidy. Everything is there, very comfortable. I definitely recommend it. Everything is as seen in the photo. The owner of the house is very understanding. I would also like to thank him very much.
