Great log cabin over two floors, as centrally located on Høvringen as it is possible to get. The cabin is located in a scenic area with great views on the edge of Rondane National Park. The area is a great starting point for all kinds of nature experiences. In summer, the area offers great hiking and cycling opportunities along marked trails. From the area there is access to ten peaks over 2000 m.a.s.l. In winter there are groomed trails right outside the property. Here there are countless cross-country opportunities for both adults and children.

At Gorohaugen you have an unobstructed view right into Rondane National Park to the east, and you can rest your eyes on Jotunheimen and the evening sun to the west. The main cabin sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms, and spacious living room with fireplace - as well as sofa group and dining room for 8 people. There is a summer road to the cabin with parking space for 2 cars. Woodshed with outhouse, fire pan, outdoor furniture and wood for fireplace.

Bring the whole family to this great place with plenty of room for fun. This house is centrally located between Rondane, Dovrefjell and Jotunheimen National Park. This house is an ideal starting point for various activities. The house has 5 bedrooms with space for up to 9 people. There is a large kitchen with a dishwasher, stove and fridge, and a wood-burning stove in the living room, so it is very cosy. THERE IS NO BEDDING OR TOWELS IN THE HOUSE, BUT THEY CAN BE RENTED, AS WELL AS DUVETS AND PILLOWS. THEY COST NOK 150 PER SET

We live on a small farm with pets and a kitchen garden. On the outskirts of the yard on the farm there is a detached house from 1979. The house is family friendly and has a great view. It has 5 bedrooms and associated common rooms. With nature reserves and national parks around us on all sides, it is a good starting point to spend your vacation here. Great hiking terrain, short distance to Grimsdalen a mountain valley with free-range livestock and a rich plant and animal life. It is part of the Tour de Dovre cycling route.

Lean back and relax in this quiet, elegant place. Here you can enjoy the view of Dovrefjell and Rondane from the bed or from the living room. Spectacular hiking opportunities right outside the door. Snøhetta is a day's march away into the realm of the musk ox. Possibilities for a ride on horseback, cycling on Tour de Dovre or walking Pilgrimsleden. Fishing in Kvitdalsvatna or on Hjerkinndammen. 4 km to Hjerkinn station. By car it is 35 min to Oppdal, 25 min to Dombås and about 15 min to the nearest store (Dalholen).

Grimsdalen is an idyllic valley between Dovre and Folldal. Here you can relax and find tranquility in great nature, with many opportunities for activities and trips. Our farmhouse in the mountain farm village Tverrlisetra has a good and pleasant atmosphere, but with modern facilities that make the stay easier. Here you have to cater for yourself, but with solar panel, gas stove and running water. From Tverrlisetra you can find many hiking destinations in easy hiking terrain just outside the door.

Romslig familiehytte med inngjerdet tomt, ved inngangen til Einunndalen. Utsikt til Rondanemassivet. Perfekt utgangspunkt for turer i Rondane, Snøhetta, Dovrefjell og Einunndalen. Både skiturer og fotturer starter på hyttetrappa! Koselig laftet stue, samt helt nytt kjøkken og to bad med alle fasiliteter. Hytta er i stor grad barnesikret, og har tilgjengelig sprinkelseng og to barnestoler. Nærhet til skiløyper, turstier, sykkelstier, alpinanlegg, badestrand og fiskevann. Kjæledyr ikke tillatt.

If you have a sleeping bag, we want you to rent sheets and pillowcases,NOK 60 per person. Let us know when booking the cabin and we will take care of it. A stone's throw to Gudbrandsdalslågen, crystal clear water and good trout river. Short distance to forest and mountains. 6 national parks nearby. Welcome!

Vår stolthet :-). Egentegnet, praktisk,selvbygd hytte på Høvringen. Nydelig utsikt. Moderne hyttecomfort og gammeldags, varmt hyttepreg med bred tømmerpanel i stue. Interiør og utstyr preges av at hytta brukes mye av eiere. Svært velutstyrt.Tilrettelagt for barn. Stor inngjerdet terrasse med peis, grill og utemøbler. Internet og tv. Vi ønsker leietakere en enkel ferie, og mye utstyr er derfor til låns. Parkering på tomt sommer. 900m fra parkering på vinter. Scootertransport kan bestilles.

Slapp av sammen med hele familien på dette fredelige bostedet, som ligger midt i mellom Otta og Dombås. Fantastisk utsikt, ingen forstyrrelser. Kort vei til rafting i Sjoa om du vil rafte. Er du interessert i fjellturer er Rondane et steinkast unna, Høvringen er også et supert turmål rett i nærheten. Ellers er det mange andre flotte turmuligheter fra Skogsætrin som er veldig barnevennlig, sommer som vinter. Om vinteren er det kjørt opp flotte skiløyper rundt ved Høvringen og ved Skogsætrin.

Cozy cabin by Grimsdalen

Great location year-round. The nearest ski lift is 30 minutes away, but cross-country trails pass right by the cabin, giving easy access to winter activities. In summer, enjoy hiking south toward Rondane or north toward Dovrefjell. The cabin is just below the tree line, close to the toll road to Grimsdalsvegen. To prepare the cabin, we send a website in advance with info and options to pre-order bed linen, towels, firewood, EV charging, and more. These are not included.
