Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Dorset

Mary is awesome! I made a mistake regarding the check in time. She very quickly responded to my text and helped me to resolve my issue. She checked in frequently before, during and after our stay readily available to answer questions etc. The house is awesome. It has so many things needed for a trip. It also has an outside table and grill. The close proximity to town was very nice too. I would highly recommend this home and hopefully this home is available for our next trip to Vermont!

5 stars all around! The view and the setting are magical. The house is brilliantly appointed and designed. What a dream to stay in this house!! We want to come back for a stay in every season to experience it again and again! The interior is extremely cozy while being beautiful at the same time. What an amazing place! We were struck by its charm the moment we arrived. Everything was so well appointed and beautiful. We just wish we could have stayed longer and explored Bennington more! We came for a Williams College graduation and so the weekend was busy but we had some wonderful meals together at the house and also a little time to explore the countryside around. We hope to come back to this magical place sometime soon!😊

The best Airbnb I have stayed at! Lovely house, yard and surroundings. Private. Spotlessly clean, and comfortable, homey atmosphere, but spacious as well. Well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Easy check in with keypad. Friendly, responsive host. Short drive to town, restaurants, stores, sight seeing, etc. It was perfect for our group of five old high school friends! Would definitely stay here again.

The home is gorgeous - thoughtfully decorated, cozy and clean. The location is perfect for access to Stratton and to Manchester. The host, Jason, provided very clear and helpful instructions for check-in, check-out and use of the home and is friendly and attentive. This is a wonderful place to stay!

The Grafton house was perfect for our multi-family with the big space, bedrooms, and bathrooms. We loved the living room area where we could all sit together for family games. The property and house are beautiful and the perfect Vermont vibes. As a skiing family, we liked the location between our favorite ski resorts. Raphael was a wonderful host in providing instructions before our arrival and helpful advice. We really enjoyed our stay at the Gafton house.

We LOVED our stay here! The lake is so peaceful and the house has the perfect view. Andrew was very helpful and accommodating and we would highly recommend staying here!

David and Mátti’s place is truly special. I feel very lucky that we got to stay there for a few days! Thank you to our hosts for creating such a serene, comfortable space. They went out of their way to say hello and make us feel at home. We had a barbecue one night, and David even brought over extra strong bug spray! We also love supporting the incredible work that they are doing with artists. My friends and I would love to stay here again for another trip to the Berkshires.

It was a wonderful stay. Whether you’re just looking to relax or for a little adventure this stay offers it all. Even though it was a rainy stay they offer plenty of movies, books and games.

Very lovely place located in a nice part of town. Mary and Lance were very welcoming and nice. We had a great stay and I strongly recommend this place for staying in Brattleboro.

We stayed at Brian’s place during graduation weekend at a local college. It was in a beautiful country setting but was an easy drive back to campus. The beds were super comfortable and there was a nice view of the hills from the deck. Would recommend!

Best place we ever stayed! Mara was amazing and we had the best two days there. We got to spend time with friendly horses, cats, and chickens. We saw a bald eagles nest nearby, too. Front of the house was a peaceful farm vibe and the back was a gorgeous river view off the back deck. We enjoyed grilling our dinner and eating out back while watching the sunset. The deck lights were a nice touch. Simply stunning! Indoor fireplace was so nice too. Definitely book this place if you’re thinking about it! We will be back for sure!

The property, including an outstanding garden, is impeccable. It's close to some of the Berkshire's finest. I came to visit the Clark Institute, Williams College and Mass MoCA, all within easy access. The lodging is moving into a well-loved home, spotless with great amenities. They have a lovely fountain that runs, sounding like a mountain stream. It's great to wake to that sound along with the birds, in a breath-taking garden. And James is kind, friendly and a great host.

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway to Stratton. Everything was pristine when we arrived late in the evening. To our delight in the morning, we awoke to a view of the rushing river behind the house. Plenty of room for our party of four, and there was a good deal of entertainment from hundreds of DVDs and YouTube TV. Larry the host was right next door if we needed him. Highly recommend!

Stay was perfect, we were 10 girls and fit comfortably and could've fit more if needed. House was clean and exactly as shown in photos. Extremely convenient location to mountain and other bars/restaurants in the area. Would highly recommend for a group trip!

This was such an incredible place to stay! The whole mansion is absolutely stunning, the surroundings and views are beautiful. However, what made this stay truly special was the incredible kindness and hospitality of the host. This was a wonderful experience and we are all looking forward to our next stay!

This was perfect for my son and I to relax in over a weekend at Pico. Everything was clean, comfortable, and we loved the fireplace as an added touch. Convenience and location were perfect; walk right out the front door and you're skiing with the buzz of the lodge right there - true ski in and out. We will definitely stay here again, for longer next time hopefully!

This was a perfect spot for us as we attended a graduation. It was clean, had plenty of room and then goodness had coffee and a filter for the pot! Would highly recommend.

Beautiful old home full of an eclectic art collection. It served my group's needs well. Never did find the lockbox for the keys. Had to get them from the on-site groundskeeper, which was a difficult task given we had a significant language barrier. The outside of the house could use some maintenance, so if that is important to you, this may not be the place for you. My one complaint is that they expect you replace the paper towels and toilet paper you use. I would expect those to be included at any price, but especially for the price you pay for this location. Overall, it was a great stay for two nights and we had fun exploring the house.

Overall we had great experience at the house. The inner decorations were cozy and comfortable, and the design was awesome! The host was responsive when the new door lock had some issues. 100% recommend staying at this house!
