Rorbua is excellent for those interested in hiking as there are countless great opportunities for mountain hiking in the surrounding area, both in Leirfjord and Sandnessjøen area. There are also good chances to catch fish for dinner from the nearest rock or boat. It is a short drive if you want to experience Helgeland's beautiful archipelago via several free ferries.

Stedet er fredelig og det er lite trafikk, det hører også en flytebrygge til som er tilgjengelig for bading, fisking kan også nås fra bergene ved hytten. Hytten ligger i naturskjønne omgivelser og har tilgang til gode turområder. Silvalen sentrum ligger 6 km unna.

In the heart of the Northern Norwegian coast, amid beautiful islands and mountains, lies my paradise on earth: my old family's house from 1873 with its picturesque garden. The house has been recently renovated, but maintains its historical charm.
