Bungalow holiday rentals in Donegal

Just back from a wonderful, memory filled 3 nights at Eibhlins. Gifts waiting for the kids and 2 dogs on arrival and little personal touches around the house made it very homely. Eibhlin was super helpful and very responsive. I slept in the room with the en suite and the bed was so comfortable and cosy. The house is spotlessly clean and easy to keep. The visiting hares were a pleasant surprise as we don't get to see many hares these days! Popped over on the ferry to Arranmore Island for the day. €45 for family of 2 adults 2 kids and car return. Recommend Golden Palace Chinese for a takeaway in Dungloe. Stunning scenery and loads of historical landmarks to visit including Termon Stone Circle which is 10 minute walk from the house. Great wee play park for the kids near the house and a pub right beside it! I need to return as there was just so much to see!!

Aidan was the perfect host. I arrived suffering from a bad cold and told him that I’d be spending the next day in bed. He kept in touch but not in any way intrusively

Keara’s place is just as in the photos, it is clean and airy and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need. The location is excellent, it is in a quiet location but very close to shops, restaurants and bars. A major plus is that it is near the sea and some beautiful walks. Keara was very helpful and responded to all our questions immediately. I would totally recommend this accommodation. Geraldine

We enjoyed staying at Marlenes place a lot. The location at Tullan Strand was perfect and Marlene was a very welcoming host.

Lovely spot, the view out our bedroom window was class, helped by the sun, Marlene was there if needed, but did not introduce. Will definitely be back again 🥰

Our second time staying here, with my parents, my two year old and 10month old it is very easy to get around. Tristan was very helpful, we really enjoyed our stay.

We choose Noelle's place because of the size for our family(3 generations), location and the reviews posted by other guests. We have stayed around Loch Swilly on a number of occasions but 1st time in Rathmullan. The photos and descriptions were exactly what we found, well maintained 1st class accommodation, plenty of space and layout was just right. Beautiful gardens and an uninterrupted view of the Loch. Walking distance to the village, local pubs and restaurants. The positive reviews are spot on, would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful location on the ocean with farmland all around. Marlene makes you feel like part of the family and the accommodations were excellent. Lovely stay!

This apartment was a good value in a quiet location that was still very walkable from central Donegal. We had some trouble figuring out the shower, but the everything else was great.

Carmel’s house was 100% accurate to the pictures, highly recommend to others looking for a stay in Bundoran. Easy check in, easily found and the house was in extremely clean. Carmel was quick to answer any messages.

Jonny’s lovely home is located in a beautiful beach town that is close to and perfect for hiking Glenveagh National Park and Ards Forest. The home feels private and secluded, yet conveniently situated in a small neighborhood set off from the main road. The modern, spacious layout allowed for an open plan feeling but separate areas for various activities, making the house perfect for a family or couple. The clean, cozy decor made the home feel like you were staying with family vs a rental property. We loved the HUGE kitchen and fridge which allowed us to store and cook a week’s worth of meals. The large living room area was great for morning exercising and/or yoga. Having a washer and dryer (many airbnbs in Ireland do not have dryers) was a Godsend! Jonny is a kind, helpful, and responsive host. Again, it felt like we were staying with a generous family friend who looked after us well! Don’t miss the Rusty Oven pizza and Dunnes in Letterkenny for groceries. Dunfanaghy is beautiful!

The pick up arrangements were made really easy for us as we were coming from Dublin after work on a Friday and it could have been late! It all ran really smoothly and on sunday when we were leaving the host came to get the keys from the house.

Lovely comfortable house with plenty of space and everything needed for a family of 6. Private and quiet. Short drive to Carndonagh village with great supermarket and a number of cafes. 10/15 mins from lovely Culdaff beach and McGrorys was great for dinner. 20 min drive to Malin head. A great location for exploring the area.

I had a fantastic stay at this property! The space was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The location was perfect — peaceful and relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Such a wonderful location overlooking pebble beach. Very peaceful, we enjoyed watching the birds. House was spotless and comfortable beds, we would definitely stay here again.
