Beautiful north woods setting with a quiet stream in back. A quiet secluded place where you won’t see your neighbors while having a coffee on the front or back porch. We have a canoe you are welcome to use to explore the river. It leads to Watersmeet lake which is part of the Eagle River Chain of Lakes. Excellent fishing. Easy access to snowmobile trails in the winter ride direct on sleds from the property to the trails. Only a few minutes to town but it seems like you’re in the Boundary Waters.

Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

Enjoy the craftsmanship of the winding stairs and catwalk that lead you to the open loft queen bed upstairs, or stay on the main floor bedroom off the family room in a twin bed (2) or the pull-out sofa bed. A must stay!

Our cabin is located in the heart of the Nicolet national forest on 37.5 acres It boarders on two sides creating a beautiful and very peaceful setting. Once inside you will feel warm and comfortable while being able to see all the beauty nature has to offer through all the windows over looking the property. Plenty of space in the kitchen to prepare a meal or relax on the deck while grilling. Relax by the camp fire or cool off in the pond. Snowmobile and atv trails through back of property.

Welcome to our escape! The Eagle River Cottage is a special place that offers breaths of fresh air, memorizing view of the chain of lakes, and is surrounded by northwoods wildlife. Direct access to the water, ATV/UTV, and snowmobile trails. Booking year round. Something to do for every season by foot, bike, boat, and/or machine. Cozy up take in the view. Read a book or take in the sounds of nature. Public beach and boat landing a couple blocks away. We welcome you!
