Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Dogtown

Beautiful remodeled older home. Garage for your car, beautiful remodeled basement with full bath, giving you 2 full bathrooms! A pagoda in the backyard and a front porch. Many people walking dogs and very friendly! We are so grateful for the basement and garage! The tornado went just north of this neighborhood. Our hearts go out to all affected by this storm.

A great place for my little family to stay within a few minutes from the zoo! It was nice to have a place close to everything we wanted to see and do but to also be tucked back out of the way at the same time. The area was very nice and the place was even better than described. Frank has a nice place nestled in a nice quiet little neighborhood. There is a park across the road that was convenient with having a kid. Will stay again next time we’re in STL.

Me and my friends booked this space for a concert that was in town. We are from out of town and wanted to enjoy St Louis. We wanted something different, something out of the box. This space was just that and soooooo much more. With a rare blend of unique, comfort, and quirky. It set the bar really high for the rest of the vacation. We are the type to stay on the go and not be in our room when on vacation. This place challenged that as it was so hard to leave sometimes. Host is just as amazing. Im not the best with modern tech and stuff of that nature. The host went out of their way to help. The host was accommodating in more ways than one. They provided some really solid recommendations for the city upon our request. Thats another thing, the host is probably one of the nicest, most responsive, helpful host Ive ever had. "The Dawg House" as we called it is now a staple in our travel plans to St. Louis. Do yourself a favor and book this place now before you miss out.

A charming house in a very convenient neighborhood, I’ll stay here again and again! I was very grateful for the doggie bags and snacks, too, as we forgot to bring both. Finally, they had the BEST couch in any rental ever!

Fragola House was perfect for our needs! We stayed with our 2 young kids and our parents so it was a perfect fit for us. Heather was responsive immediately when we messaged about some minor house details and even offered to come fix them right away (which was not necessary). We loved being on the Hill - just far enough away from the hustle & bustle of the city - and close enough that we didn’t need to travel far to get to any of our destinations. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage! It was a cute neighborhood with lots of convenient places nearby and was an easy drive to tourist spots.

Lindsay is fantastic and so compassionate and generous! She made our stay phenomenal and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and at home. We travelled far to come here for our sick son and she truly made it an easier experience and accommodated us in every way possible. I highly recommend this home. It’s absolutely beautiful and so much more than the photos that are incredible! It’s like a peace of heaven on earth! Best Airbnb hands down!

Scott was a fantastic host and the place was awesome. The only "complaint" we had was there was a tornado (not Scott's fault - duh) about 3 miles away the day after we arrived. There was no damage where we were at, but the power went out and remained off for about 24 hours. I just wish Scott would have had some flashlights and candles in the house, but there were not any, and because he was out of town that weekend we kind of had to fend for ourselves. Other than that, the place was awesome and Scott said he would refund us $120 for the spoiled food in the fridge that we bought the day before. Minus the "act of God" tornado, the visit was great!

We loved this place. Check in was easy, communication was great, plus location was a block away from the Delmar Loop shops and restaurants. What set it apart was the nice touches from the owners with a record player, coffee and tea station, and old Nintendo. Street parking is free and easily accessible right in front of property. Would definitely stay again.

Super spacious and clean loft located right by the pedestrian bridge to get you into “the hill” neighborhood with great restaurants. Located right by the interstate, but the traffic noise never bothered us. All the games were a great bonus. Host was super responsive and accommodating to our requests. We did not encounter any homelessness or sketchy actors around our unit but did see a few broken car windows, unfortunately something you can expect in many big cities these days. If you do have a car, do not leave anything in view and make yourself an easy target. No complaints from our group! 10/10 would stay here again

We loved our stay! The apartment was very nice, cute decorations, and in an amazing area of St. Louis. Easily accessible to major roadways to get downtown and very close to Forest Park. Anna offered to answer any of our questions and was extremely responsive. Although, we didn’t even need to, as she was very precise on instructions for check in, check out, and anything else we may need. Would definitely recommend!!

Good stay in STL. Walkable to Soulard and Lafayette Square. Not I’d feel completely comfortable walking back at night, but that’s the neighborhood, not this unit specifically.

Great location for everything you want to see or do in St. Louis. 15 minute drive to most of the tourist sites and business actives in the City as well as Washington University and St. Louis University. Walk to many good restaurants on Grand Ave and just a half block from the Hartford Coffee Co. for breakfast or lunch. one block to Tower Grove Park.

Very convenient, it was close to many places we wanted to visit. Friendly neighborhood as well. Loved the pool!!!

This is a lovely and convenient location in the CWE. One can see the dome of the New Cathedral from the address, and hear the church chimes, which is an iconic StL experience. The host, David, is remotely managing quite a few different stay options on this one site. There is a main house with many rooms, and a carriage house in back with two apartments above the parking lot. It is very convenient to park in the parking lot (accessed from an alleyway behind) if you will be staying in the carriage house. The check in info was confusing to me because I had been busy flying (without wifi) and driving and hadn't had a chance to read it closely before I got there and needed to leave right away for a meeting...so that was stressful but really my own fault. Just be aware that this is a complex of different airbnb sites on one property, and give yourself time to look carefully at photos and read directions at check in. We found the carriage house apt very comfortable.

This was a great homebase for our St. Louis trip. It was clean and had the kitchen items needed to make our meals when we were not eating out.

Really nice and cool host if you needed something he was on top of it really nice and convenient spot in town nothing was to far away road side parking was great most definitely would recommend to people and or stay again!!!

John's place was good for our 2 nights in St. Louis. We were able to walk to a coffee shop at the corner for breakfast on our first morning there. A tornado hit the area on our 2nd day so we were not able to stay. John offered to reimburse us for the second night. Good host, good location.

Thoughtful, generous host. The space was cozy and comfortable after a busy graduation weekend. Great location—easy Uber access and walking distance to restaurants and Whole Foods. The well-equipped kitchen was a nice bonus.

Place was fine, easy to get into. Janet and Kathryn very nice. Not a fan of the Delmar loop, which wasn’t their fault. Beds were comfy.

Great location near Clayton and Forest Park, safe neighborhood with easy street parking. Did not use kitchen, but it was spotless. Will stay again.

Very nice place. Close to many outstanding St. Louis City parks and eateries. Close to Walmart, Target and grocery stores. Connor right on it if you need help with directions or finding resources.

Great spot for a weekend getaway! Very close to downtown and felt very safe. Recommend!
