Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Washington

This is a lovely home in a neighborhood with a lot of historic charm. Very walkable to the Navy Yard, bikeable to the Anacostia Trail, and we easily walked to the National Mall and the Smithsonian. The house was clean, cozy, and very quiet. Parking was incredibly easy, plentiful, and free. The outdoor spaces were really nice. It rained a bit and we could sit out on the private front porch, and when the sun was out there was a nice back area with tables and chairs. Sam was a kind, responsive, and accommodating host. Would definitely stay again.

Maggie’s house was perfect for our family getaway! You can’t beat this location. It was a quick walk to Eastern Market metro and tons of local shopping/dining options, yet the street was peaceful and quiet. We were able to spread out and relax as a family of three with two dogs. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Maggie was responsive and helpful from booking and through our stay. 10/10, would book again.

The entry way was under construction and could have done with a little tlc. However, we Loved this basement apartment! It was central to everywhere we wanted to go in the city. There were pans and cleaning supplies to make make the space more functional and homey. A nice size yard for my service dog to play! And the highlight was the beautiful bathroom! The tub is honestly what sold me. I took a bath every night and the shower was perfect for my mom. Would definitely love to stay again.

Martha’s place was perfect! Everything we needed and more. We visited DC for a weekend getaway to celebrate my sister getting married by surprising her with a bachelorette weekend, and Martha’s place was truly the perfect place to make this happen. It was easy to find, easy to park, easy to check in. Martha was so helpful in every way, we did not have a single issue while staying here, but I am certain if we needed help with anything Martha would have been on it, as she was very responsive and helpful. We loved the place itself, looks so much bigger in person! Such a beautiful, well decorated home, that truly feels like a home away from home. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Great place not just for exploring DC, but also wonderful for a weekend escape to stay in for a relaxing at home spa day! We had such a wonderful time at Martha’s place, and really appreciated all her accommodations and help during our stay. 10/10 would definitely come again and highly recommend! Thank you!

My wife, two kids, pup and I all enjoyed our stay at this well appointed and super comfy home. It is in a great location with parking on site and a cute park right out the back door. Walk to lots of cute restaurants, bus and metro easily. The host was super accommodating and easy to get in touch with. Will definitely stay here again if ever in the DC area.

I LOVED my stay here. It is on a beautiful residential street, but close to everything that is happening in DC. So, you have the quiet and privacy of an actual home, but you’re literally a stone’s throw from the action if/when you want it. The house itself is super cute, impeccably decorated, and I felt incredibly comfortable and safe. The patio is fantastic, and the enclosed patio was a favorite spot for reading or relaxing.

Nice building that has many amenities and is very close to train station. We enjoyed the week visiting all of the sites DC has to offer.

Nathan has a lovely home—it feels like stepping back in time into one of old Washington’s charming houses. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and communication with Nathan was excellent. The location is convenient, about a 25-minute walk to Capitol Hill. While the surrounding area could be better—the streets were a bit dirty—it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t affect our overall experience. We had a wonderful time in Washington, and staying at this house was definitely part of it. Thank you, Nathan!

Paola’s home is a special find. It is tastefully designed and well-appointed with interesting art and furnishings. The large living room worked well for my daughter’s bridal shower. It is located in a super quiet and safe feeling section of NW near Silver Spring. I highly recommend Paola’s house.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was stylish, clean, and super comfortable. The bed was perfect, and the kitchen had everything I needed. The outdoor patio with a great view was a lovely bonus. The location was quiet yet close to everything. Host was very responsive and thoughtful, making the whole experience seamless. We had a fantastic stay at this Georgetown Airbnb! The location was perfect, nestled in a charming, historic neighborhood, and within walking distance to its shops and restaurants. The host had local tips for dining and activities. The space was quiet and felt private, yet so close to all the action. Check-in was easy, and the home was very clean upon arrival. We particularly enjoyed the charm of this older home. Overall, this was an ideal base for exploring DC. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a blend of comfort, convenience, and local charm in Georgetown! Would definitely stay here again.

Jillian’s apartment was just what I needed for a quick stay in DC. The place was clean and had everything I needed. I didn’t do any cooking there but there was a nice coffee maker. Bed was comfortable and so was the TV room with a good couch. It is a basement apartment so there isn’t much in the way of windows or natural light, but I didn’t spend any time in the day there. Also keep in mind it is a solid 15-minute walk to the metro, so I ended up mostly getting an Uber to downtown (which was easy). Overall, a great spot for a short visit to DC!

I recently stayed in a cozy Airbnb near the zoo in Washington D.C. and it was a great experience. The apartment was very clean and modern. The owner, Sarah, has it equipped with all the necessities to make the stay comfortable. One of the highlights of our trip was exploring the neighborhood on foot, looking at the beautiful historic houses and gardens. The apartment was within walking distance to the Metro, making it easy to visit the capital museums. We took a day trip to nearby Old Town Alexandria by Metro. The historic architecture, brick lined streets, and the old Torpedo Factory filled with dozens of artist studios was well worth seeing. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a nice home base to explore the nation's capital.

Beautiful place! Very rustic feel but so nice. Everything was very comfortable, and in a good, safe location. Large TV and couch space was nice to relax as well. Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Elizabeth’s place. It was in a nice quiet neighbourhood, good cafe around the corner for a morning coffee and 15-20 min walk to the Capitol building. Very comfortable place to come back with all the amenities. Would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay while sightseeing with our young kids. The apartment was very comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed within a few minutes walk to Dupont metro stop. We especially appreciated the recommendations from the host. Chris went the extra mile to be helpful, overall great experience!
