Cottage holiday rentals in Didsbury

Was very inspired sitting in the garden. Even woke in the morning and sat in the. Window ledge with the window slightly open and took in the view and the sound of the water. Sitting in the garden and listening to the birds. Exploring the grounds. Even taking a cold plunge / shower in the waterfall beneath the bridge. Felt very inspired. The cottage was warm. Cosy. The only down side… we had to leave the next day. Definitely returning and I’m going to book my parents a stay there too. They would love it.

If you're considering this, just book it! Great place, warm and clean with everything you could need. We felt very welcome, beautiful farm with animals and an orchard. Setting is great, 25 mins to Sheffield but 30 seconds to incredible countryside. If you want a relaxed place to explore the peaks, this ticks all the boxes. Already thinking about returning.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We would definitely stay again and will be recommending our families and friends to stay.

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful Airbnb. The one-bedroom space was incredibly spacious and well laid out, with a super comfy bed that made it hard to leave in the morning! The private garden was huge and perfect for relaxing, especially with the hot tub—it felt like our own little retreat. The area is peaceful and quiet, which made the whole stay even more relaxing. Highly recommend for a cosy, private getaway!

We had a fab 2 night stay at Scarlett’s place! The cottage itself was lovely and cosy , had everything we needed and was clean! The bed was extremely comfortable! The hot tub was great it was really nice to enjoy our anniversary weekend away! We were able to order a take away through just eat on our first night and then ate food at the travellers rest on the Sunday and Arthur’s for breakfast today! Scarlett was a great host and even messaged early to say we could check in! Will definitely return 😊

a fantastic little place with plenty to do in the village or neighbouring towns, lots of lovely little touches made it feel really well thought through and not a "standard air BnB" at all - fresh coffee, different teas, dressing gowns, welcome drinks, and plenty of logs for the log fired hot tub which we took advantage of every night of our stay. Also one of the increasingly rare places with a host confident enough not to leave lots of "please do this don't do this" type notes which helped us feel like we were at home really quickly.

A fantastic property with a high quality and luxurious finish. Peaceful, with the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, despite being extremely close to shops and bars. Stayed with my three kids. Enjoyed the hot-tub and garden. The place was spotlessly clean and all of the appliances worked perfectly. A great sleep in very comfy beds, next to the sound of nature. Thanks for a beautiful stay!

What a Beautiful cottage to stay in. Full of character and charm , spotless and comfortable with so much space. Lovely gardens with a hot tub that was so relaxing. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you to Laura and Sue who greeted us on our arrival.

What a beautiful cottage, with great history. Love the fact file in the cottage of the hard work of this restoration project. Fantastic wild life surrounds the cottage and we were fortunate to book in lambing season, so got to see the lambs feeding and skipping right around the cottage. They were very intrigued with our little chihuahua. I never knew how inquisitive sheep are! We had a Chaffinch that is clearly very tame that landed on the kitchen door. The cottage itself is pristinely clean, the cleanest place we have stayed, it made me feel throughly spoilt and not have to clean before I settled in. The communication was excellent and the information of local things to do was fantastic. We did Teggs Nose, Macs Forest and Shutlingsloe circular walk and Shining Tor, Cats Tor and Errwood Hall Circular. There is so much more exploring we would like to do. We visited The Peak View Tea Rooms, Leather’s Smithy, and the Cat and Fiddle distillery. This cottage is certainly a walkers paradise.

We had a lovely stay at Hollowcowhey farm - the location is stunning set right in the middle of the Peak District. We enjoyed watching the lambs in the field, as well as spotting hares and birds, and walks from the doorstep. The barn was comfortable and warm. We also both worked remotely while there and the wifi was excellent. Thanks for a great stay!

Really loved our stay it was great! The house had great facilities, lovely and cosy living room, great location for lots of walks! Just a tip to taller people staying make sure you bend going through the front door as my partner bumped his head a few times - all other doorways are fine :)

The downstairs is so well planned, with a lovely kitchen/ conservatory space, and the lounge doors fully open to extend the space if needed. Very airy and spacious, yet snug too! Clever. Front room gets the sun later in day, and sunset views over the field are beautiful. Downstairs bathroom is large and shower is fantastic! Beds are very comfortable and duvet covers etc are soft and good quality, with additional throws and pillows if needed. Upstairs has 2 very good size double bedrooms, plenty of space for luggage and another good bathroom. Several velux windows that can be opened, and the only sound to hear is birds. The kitchen is very well stocked with pans/ utensils etc, central island hob is great for sitting and watching the chef at work! The garden is beautiful, and very private. Wysteria was in full bloom, and all shrubs are well established. Fully fenced in too, so pets can roam without worry. Definitely recommend this beautiful tranquil haven.

Richard’s place was perfect for a long weekend family getaway. The house is cosy and welcoming, with everything you need. The location is a great base to explore the surrounding countryside and in easy walking distance of several pubs and cafes in the centre of Delph. We would more than happily stay here again in the future.

Wow! an amazing beautiful place. The hosts Jill and Sean were fantastic right from the start. Very helpful, and any questions we had they were very quick to respond. Beautiful home, very clean and everything we needed. The welcome basket was a beautiful treat. The whole experience was wonderful. We felt very spoilt. Highly recommend. What a wonderful stay we had so close to the peak district! The most perfect, cosy little cottage with everything we needed. The cherry on top was most definitely the little hamper of goodies to welcome us- delicious sourdough bread, some brownies, fresh eggs from the chickens outside, and lots of fresh fruit! The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and we had the most comfortable stay. Lush towels and bedding too! Would definitely return and highly recommend.

This was our third trip to Hill Crest because it's just the best place to stay in the beautiful Yorkshire moors! The living space in the bungalow is so comfy and the views afforded across the valley are just breathtaking to wake up to every morning. The home is very very well equipped with everything you would expect from a well equipped airbnb - no need to pack everything from home which is a huge plus. As is now normal my boys were very sad to be leaving and we have promised them a fourth trip back up next year :)

We were pleasantly surprised by Jane’s place. Her pictures don’t do the place justice. It was clean and so nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jane was proactive and responsive to any questions or concerns I had. We had a 10/10 experience.

Perfect location for a catch up with family. Cottage is well equipped and spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. Kat communicated clear access instructions before our arrival and the visitor’s guide had great recommendations for walks and highlights of the local area. We had a lovely few days, hope we can come back soon!

A beautiful cottage that was exactly as the host described. Quick in responding to all my questions prior to arrival. Lovely clean house. Added touches of a small snack basket and milk. Comfy beds and would stay again/recommend. Local shop cafe and Indian takeaway all lovely. Good location to drive to Bakewell, monsal trail and Mam torr. Also called from the house a lovely 5 mile walk over the Eccles Pike circular. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

wow! What a beautiful cottage Kate & Adrian have. From the moment we turned up, we felt as though we were visiting friends! One of the nicest hosts we have ever met. The cottage itself is stunning, attention to detail wasnt missed at all. Even down to how gorgeous it smelt too. An abundance of treats, breads, pastries, cereals, cookies, juice , teas, coffees, hot chocolate, snacks, fruit...and chocolates on the bed too. Even wine and beer in the mini fridge. You couldn't ask for anymore. And after a day out , we came back to clean mugs and plates, and more cookies. Kate is like a magic fairy. Really went out of her way as a host. We slept so well. Parking was never a problem too, right outside the cottage. Lots of restaurants and pubs to choose from close by, and amazing walks on the doorstep Honestly, we would have happily stayed longer. See you again, thank you .

Jack & Nicki’s place was lovely, we would definitely stay again. The property was nice and clean, the kitchen and bathroom were exceptionally clean and spacious. All Essentials were all provided, fresh flowers & an Easter egg each for the kids was a lovely touch. Easy to check in and out with clear instructions and easy to find. We have found Niki is a great host, very helpful and responsive whenever we had a question she was quick to reply with detailed information. Thank you for letting your property to us we had a lovely time.

Fabulous location in the heart of Knutsford. Easy access to shops and tatton park (and a playground). Our toddler loved watching the planes out of the window. House was beautiful and had everything we needed. Would stay again x
