Camawald Cottage is: * situated in the heart of the famous Coonawarra wine district * nestled in a 10 acre acclaimed garden * very private and secluded surrounded by farmland and vineyards. * idyllic peaceful views from both the front verandah and rear deck. Guests are welcome to wander around the extensive garden with its lake, magnificent old redgums and exotic trees as well as over 1000 roses. A charming, heritage listed property situated in the heart of Penola. Built by Alexander Cameron in 1869, it is within walking distance to the Main Street of Penola, giving easy access to restaurants, hotels, cafes and the historical Petticoat Lane. The cottage backs onto a family friendly town square, playground and public pool with plenty of room for your children to play. Dogs are welcome - larger dog owners please note that the fence is only 90cm high.
