Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Dent County

James was fantastic! We are locals to the area but are in transition of selling our house to buying property and developing it for us to live one. All that being said a winter storm hit our area. At the moment we are in a camper….we lost power due to ice and power lines down. I thought maybe someone would have an Airbnb around with a wood stove and this one did!!! We got in direct contact with James and he helped us out tremendously! It was nice to see all the wonderful comments about our small town and area in his guest book. It was a cozy, WARM stay. Just what we needed.

We stayed here the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids. This home is BEAUTIFUL and the pictures do not do it justice. My friends and I would love to come back and enjoy a nice weekend away.

We couldn't be happier with our stay at Mary's place. Everything appeared like the photos shown, very neat and clean. It had 4 comfortable beds and had all the amenities anyone might need. Host was very helpful and quick in replacing what we thought was a faulty coffee maker, (not faulty) , just human error. Highly recommend this house for a small group heading down to spend time on the Current River or near by locations.

Cute & comfortable farmhouse! Rural yet close to activities. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch & watching the wildlife. Our pup loved the fenced in yard. Thank you-we had a great time!

3 old friends enjoyed 3 days of fishing at Montauk. The location and cabin were perfect for us. Historically we have stayed in a cabin in the park, but moving forward we will be staying at the Blue Ribbon. It is ride outside the park, a very short drive, much more peaceful and much nicer for a similar price. Highly recommend staying here for a fishing trip to Montauk.

Such an amazing place for a last minute getaway. Quiet and peaceful, especially at night laying on the deck watching the stars. We will definitely be back.

I love staying at Ricky and Melissa's tiny cabin! They are sweet friends! The farm is always nothing short of pristine and peaceful. I always look forward to visiting whenever I can.

We were traveling cross-country from Kentucky to Arizona with our two dogs (ages 10 and 7), hoping to give them a big adventure! We came across this yurt last minute and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. As soon as we pulled in, we felt like we were home. Being surrounded by the woods reminded us so much of where we live, and it was incredibly peaceful. The property is beautifully maintained, and the creek running nearby just added to the magic. Our dogs were in heaven — plenty of space to explore and relax, and it was safe and quiet enough for them to truly enjoy themselves. This place was everything we were looking for: unique, serene, and immersed in nature. We’re so grateful we found it and will absolutely be back if we’re ever in the area again. HIGHLY recommend for anyone traveling with pets or simply looking to disconnect and enjoy some true peace and quiet.

I enjoyed their little “vintage” house. Lots of old fashioned fixtures! Especially the dining table chandelier! The neighbor’s Dogs cried and howled every time they let them out. Honestly that was the only downside. lol Oh, and the TV didn’t work very well, but i’m not a big TV person, so that was ok with me. Fit the purpose for my extended stay while I Worked at Salem Hospital! Thank you!

Mary’s place was great and exactly what we needed. Her attention to detail and home decor was fabulous. Her place was super clean and smelt so good! The location of Mary’s place was great too. On a very quiet street but right in town and less than a couple miles from anything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed our stay and without hesitation would book this place again.
