Our guest suite looks over the mountains, ocean and a private lake. This is a quiet and secluded home on 30 acres of land made up of open field and forest. Sit back, watch the dragonflies and listen to the birds beside the lake or by the stream in the forest. Enjoy the rustic lifestyle with modern accommodates and wildlife within a hands reach. Up for a walk? Enjoy the private forest trail that surrounds the house. Easy access to activities such as fishing, crabbing, prawn fishing, hiking, etc.

The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

The Fat Cat Inn

In a quiet neighborhood, a lovely, private, air-conditioned, vaulted-ceiling cabin with glass front overlooking Baynes Sound and the mountains of Vancouver Island. Self-contained with a private entrance. Queen-size bed in loft, single bed on main floor. Private bathroom with shower. Private access to beach. Close to ferry, a short walk to the local village. Please note that this property is not suitable for people with mobility issues or small children. WE DO NOT CHARGE CLEANING FEES.

Guest suite on the Salish Sea

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Listen to the surf, the eagles, and the many birds and sea-life on this beautiful property. A walk-out self contained suite with kitchenette and spa bathroom, has a pathway right down to the beach. It is very bright with a queen size bed, ideally a romantic getaway for two, but has a pull out queen fouton couch if needed for additional guests. Developed seating area at the beach, firepit too! Separate entrance from the main house.

Sweet Garden Suite and Sauna

Come stay in our suite little garden suite! Your bedroom is surrounded by a rustic garden with access to a private patio with glorious morning sun and a spacious backyard. This suite is half of the main house with a private entrance. There is a full bathroom, a large kitchen with dining space, and a bedroom. You will also have access to a private electric sauna. We are close to the beach. Note: Our water system has been upgraded since last summer!

West Coast Cottage on Waterfront Property

Discover coastal bliss in our West Coast Cottage in Campbell River, just 30 mins from Mount Washington and nestled within close driving distance to Willow Point and downtown. Enjoy breathtaking ocean & mountain views, and wildlife from bald eagles to dolphins. Fire up the BBQ on your private deck, then later come enjoy the common firepit area! The cottage does not have ocean view, however, the waterfront is only 30 meters away on our property.

Prancing Pony Glamping Dome at Shirewoods Farm

A countryside retreat overlooking pastures with both wildlife and horses. Enjoy a relaxing getaway at Prancing Pony located on a 37 acres farm kitty-corner to Hemer Provincial Park. The geodome lodging includes a queen size bed, and 3 piece bathroom. There's a microwave, mini fridge, sink, and outside is a BBQ. There's a deck to lounge in the sun, a gazebo sun shelter, and a fire pit. In the evening, frogs serenade you from the nearby pond.
