Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Del Mar

This is a great rental for a family. There is plenty of beach equipment as well as equipment for toddlers if needed. Being dog-friendly is a major plus. The house is in a quiet neighborhood which is nice for walking and it is a short drive to restaurants and the beach. We took advantage of the hot tub and the very relaxing back yard.

Beautiful home in an excellent location. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. The backyard was especially beautiful and lush, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. We had trouble figuring out the TV, and Alexander made a special trip to fix it immediately, which we really appreciated. He was incredibly attentive, always responded within 30 minutes, and made sure we felt welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommend this!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage! It was a stunning location, surrounded by nature. The cottage was so homey, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Would stay here again!

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

We initially planned to stay in Leucadia for a week but decided to extend our stay for a full second week because we loved this place so much. The location is absolutely perfect. We walked to the Beacons beach to surf every day and had our pick of all the best restaurants on the 101 (highly recommend Birdseye Kitchen). The house itself is cozy and surprisingly private for a place on the 101. It helped to have laundry on site and Chris was responsive throughout our visit. The house isn't as well stocked as a lot of air bnbs (no wine glasses, coffee, ice cube trays, etc.) but you will probably want to eat out most of your stay anyway because there are so many great places within walking distance. We definitely plan to come back and highly recommend this charming little nook in Leucadia! Excellent cost for value.

We absolutely loved staying in this house!!! Matt, the host was very friendly and helpful. The house is beautifully done and maintained very well and is exactly as the photos show. Lovely views. Excellent location for getting around San Diego. Our family of five were very comfortable here and we will definitely look forward to coming back to stay here again !!

Craig is a superhost and offered many helps from the moment we booked the place by offering local recommendations and helpful suggestions. The place felt right like home. Craig is also considerate with any requests we communicate beforehand. Highly recommend!

Great place with a great view, convenient location, very minimalist in the best way. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to relax and spend time indoors while on vacation, great place to get a little creative work done.

My 2 colleagues and myself stayed here for a total of 8 nights as we were in town for a conference. It was brilliant and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Oceanside and this property .

Great place! Especially if traveling with kids. Very clean and has all the comforts of home. The yard is a bonus for letting little ones play. Mari was helpful and accommodating and easy to communicate with. My family was actually set to stay at another one of their properties but at the last minute, (and due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control), we were unable to stay at the original booking. But Mari was quick to reach out to me and was very helpful at getting us booked at another location. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

We needed a place for 3 adults Sydnie’s place was so great from the first time I messaged Sydnie she helped me with local recommendation’s for restaurants/groceries/stores she sent me all the info I messed to make our stay wonderful. The house was everything that was shown. I would recommend anyone to stay here and will definitely will be back.

This is our third time staying here and it gets better and better every time! Literally spent the whole trip on the property with so many activities which the kids loved. Last time we used it as a place to stay when we went to Legoland and it was tough getting the kids to leave! My daughter's favorite host was Kelsey and my son's favorite is Riley. My buddy is Calvin the Alpaca. A perfect getaway and Heather and her family are super welcoming and attentive to any needs. Can't wait for the next visit!

Our stay here was incredible!! Craig and Julie were wonderful hosts, very thoughtful and had great communication before and during our trip. The view was absolutely breathtaking! We felt right at home and hope to make it back here someday!

I absolutely loved this place. There is so much to do within the home. The backyard is an amazing space with a pool/jacuzzi/ water slide, grill with fire pit, and yard games to include mini golf and ax throwing. The indoor space is equally amazing with a huge kitchen with everything you need , 2 lounging areas with TV’s, an Atari arcade game where you can relive your 80’s childhood and play pac- man and frogger. The bedrooms and bathroom were clean. The views from the home are beautiful, you can even see the ocean. My daughters live in San Diego and we live in Orange County so this was the perfect in between. It is close enough to the beach but far enough away that you don’t have to contend with beach traffic. It is also close to stores and restaurants but the house was so entertaining, we just stayed there all weekend, it was just perfect.

The location is a ten minute walk to the beach. There’s a sprouts three minutes away and numerous bars, restaurants, and shops. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Great location with a very great host. Very kind people. I would definitely stay again.

Kerri’s home is a fabulous place to stay if you have family, an event, or if you are just looking to tour the San Diego, Anaheim, Solana Beach and other areas. It’s perfectly located to make travel easy to many popular tourist destinations in the area, including hiking and sightseeing! Her home has the MOST wonderful amenities and she is so generous with all provided. We had more than enough comforts to stay our week as a family of 4. The home is set up perfectly to get ready for formal events (I loved the vanity) and have a backyard bbq. The bed toppers make the beds so comfortable- including the pull out couch. From the kitchen to the bathroom to beach fun to rainy days, Kerri has thought of everything. The home is very clean, and the location in busy Solana Beach has beautiful views of the ocean in the distance and the city below. The freeway runs along many neighborhoods in San Diego, but it is just a white noise hum. We loved eating outside everyday. Kerri is a wonderful host!

This house was as charming as the pictures suggested. Very private, lovely decor, comfy beds and furniture. The garden was a pleasant surprise and all enclosed which was helpful with dogs. Walk to the village or the beach in 10- 15 min. We would love to stay again. Recommend ear plugs if you go to bed on the early side because the trains run nearby past 11 pm.

It was absolutely charming. We enjoyed our short stay, only regret was not having more time to enjoy it more. Beds and bedding was comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked. Plenty of thick towels and beach towels. My grandsons loved sleeping in the loft. We were 20 minutes away from Sea World minutes from great parks for the boys. The owner was wonderful. Honestly, the cottage is better in person than it appears in the pictures… the pictures are accurate, but just don’t do any justice! Everything was clean and even more spacious than it looks in the pictures (not too big, not too small; it was just right for our family of 4, plus sister visiting from the midwest!). The location was amazing - a quiet cul-de-sac with a beautiful view of the ocean, within walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants and cute shops. We brought our Goldendoodle everywhere with us, and I think she had the most fun of all of us :) I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be booking again!

Our stay at this property surpassed our expectations in so many ways! The photos didn't reflect how beautiful, clean, spacious, and private our airbnb was. There was so much for our family of 7 to enjoy during our 3 day stay, together & individually. Our kids enjoyed swinging on the swings, going up on their loft to get the beautiful ocean views, lounging around in their pool, and walking around & exploring all the nature that surrounds this home. We were really impressed with the Spanish modern design of this home and the cohesiveness of the modern and traditional design elelments-it made for stunning photos! The host resoonded promptly to every one of our question; they reponsed within the hour to every one of our questions.

We absolutely loved our stay here in Solana Beach - we felt completely at home and wish we could have stayed a few more weeks to just relax and enjoy the amazing weather. The unit had everything we needed. It's a beautiful and peaceful space. The neighborhood is also every nice, and walkable, though you'd probably want to drive to Solana Beach and Del Ray. We would definitely stay here again!

This airbnb was conveniently located and was as advertised. Place was clean and the check-in process was seamless. Would definitely check out other Wander locations in the future.
