The cottage is located in the beautiful Reestdal behind the family campsite de Vossenburcht in IJhorst, where you can walk into the woods. You are warmly welcome in log cabin de Merel on our cozy little Estate Camping near Dwingelderveld National Park and Weerribben-Wieden. The campsite, with 8-10 places, is located at the rear of the monumental manor farm. In the former haystack, there is a unique can museum and country restaurant in the summer months. The beds are made up upon arrival, and towels and kitchen towels are provided. In consultation, we will bring clean towels and kitchen towels.

A staircase leads to a loft with another double bed. Towels and bed linen are included.

Where you wake up well rested by scratching chickens and breakfast with a fresh egg. Be welcome to experience this in our Drenthe garden house. Our cozy garden house is located in the back of our 1893 farmhouse with an area of 75m2. It has its own entrance and full privacy. There is a large living room with its own kitchen and views of the meadows. We also have an enclosed garden where you can relax! Your beloved pets are very welcome!

This location is ideal for people with a dog who want to recreate in a wooded area. The cottage has a nice large garden and is fenced with green hedges. The many trees in the garden give you a lot of privacy. The entire plot is fenced, so your dog can walk freely in the garden. In addition to many species of birds, squirrels can also be seen regularly in the garden. If the sun shines for a while, you can sit outside on the terrace.
