Holiday rentals with a kayak in Darling Downs

Thank you Lisa and Mel for a wonderful stay in your exquisite Airbnb. What a gorgeous place and beautiful location. The photos really don’t do it justice. It was so serene waking up to that view. The Airbnb has the comfiest bed we’ve ever slept in! I need one for home ☺️!! Every little detail has been thought of in this Airbnb including a lovely breakfast for us too. This was our second stay and we absolutely love this place. The location is spectacular and so quiet. House is great for the family and lots for the kids to do. Amanda communicates really well and the house has everything you need. This place is good for the soul ❤️

This Airbnb was truly a dream! The place itself was quaint and stunning, with breathtaking views that made every morning feel like a postcard moment. (Norie even left a welcome postcard that we have kept) The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But what made it extra special was the host Norie absolutely lovely, warm, and incredibly attentive. On the second night it got cold and she checked on us to see if we needed more fire wood to keep us warm! So thoughtful making sure we had everything we needed, she went above and beyond. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Can’t wait to come back! On the first night she let us feed the animals at feeding time, Norie was really supportive and tentative! I was scared to feed the animals and she made me feel at ease and confident! We live close in Ipswich and this is the perfect place to go, just to get away to the quiet when life gets too much! Absolutely loved it, we can’t wait to go again

This was our second stay at Anne and Russell’s place, and it was just as special as the first. We got engaged here on our first visit, and returned after our wedding for a peaceful mini-moon (our honeymoon will be later in the year). The space holds a lot of meaning for us, and it didn’t disappoint. We loved being able to wander the property, feed the horses and cows again, and soak in the quiet. The two border collies, Ted and Missy, were always nearby—eager to join us on our walks but respectful of our space when we wanted it. They really added to the warmth of the stay. Anne and Russell were once again incredibly welcoming and generous with their time, happy to chat and offer local recommendations. They’d recently finished some renovations and were excited to show us the updates, which we really appreciated. We’re so glad we returned—and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

An experience we will remember and talk about for a long time. Can not fault anything at all. We loved our two night stay at Carreg Cottage. The ducks, goats, sheep and Maddy the horse all made it so perfect! Kelley checked in via message at just the right times to ensure we had all we needed. The bed was like heaven and the cottage had a beautiful relaxing ambiance. We will definitely be back and have already recommended it to many of our friends. Loved the fires, inside and out! Our 2nd stay at the glorious Beaumont high country homestead and this mini break was just as good, if not better than we remembered. The homestead is the perfect spot to enjoy all that Chinghee Creek has to offer - rolling hills, friendly cattle, peace and quiet, and quality family time at its best. Our kids (10 & 13) spent their days exploring and battling each other at table tennis, and we all enjoyed reading, baking, and board games. Our hosts Claire and Rod were incredibly helpful and generous during our stay, inviting us to view some recently born calves at Christmas Creek. A five star rating doesn't seem enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This was our second stay at the oakview carriage and it was even more beautiful than the fist time! we just love how peaceful and beautiful it is. thank you for having us again ❤️

It was an amazing stay! The entire property is beautiful and so much space around you. Close enough to town and very close to the lake. The hosts were very generous with check in and check out times and made the whole experience easy. We all had such a wonderful time staying here. Will definitely be coming back!

Host was really accomodating and lovely peaceful spot. Could of used another Doona as was a bit cold through the night. But absolutely beautiful little place just the right size for 1 adult and two little children
