Guesthouse holiday rentals in Danube River

Great location, very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The accommodation was separate from the main house but very private. Easy parking on site. Lovely homemade breakfast brought to us every morning. It's a 15 min walk down to the lake but can be a steep walk back up.

The experience was excellent. The place was immaculate, cozy, and fully equipped with everything you might need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings made for an exceptionally restful sleep. Martina was extremely helpful, friendly, and communicated clearly throughout our stay. Thank you so much!

We had a very nice stay, the apartment was clean and tidy. We felt very welcome. What made us very happy, there was a breakfast for the first day as well as a tomato sauce and spaghetti. It also has tea, sugar and coffee. Nicola was very helpful and gave us good tips. What we personally did not like so much was that we were very often and quite long on the road by car. Nevertheless, the apartment was central, we were in Venice, Padua, Vicenza and several days at the sea in Sottomarina. Thank you very much, Nicola🙏

Nina and Marijan were very friendly and welcoming hosts providing helpful information about visiting Plitvice Lakes and other attractions in the area. The accommodation was very roomy with a lovely outdoor deck area. We would recommend staying here.

In our two weeks traveling Croatia from top to bottom, Istria was the pinnacle. Franko's rental in Hum was our home base for this deeply memorable highlight. Franko was communicative throughout our approach and met us promptly on our arrival. With the tour of the place behind us, our first hour in Hum was just spent with Franko, in his home, trying his award-winning grappas, enjoying his stories, and conversing like new friends. My sister and brother-in-law stayed two doors down in Franko's daughter's rental. The entire family, their shop, their pride, their charm, really made the trip. Though we had never been there before, they made us feel like we were being welcomed home. My fiancee and I are now discussing moving our wedding to Hum. The people, the place, the view, the solitude, the peace... it's all worth much more than what what we paid. I'd tell you every little discovery and delight, but I'd rather not spoil you, future traveler, from finding your own joys in this hidden gem.

We absolutely loved our stay with Norbert! It was truly a home away from home. He was very generous, thoughtful, and went above and beyond on showing us around the town, bringing cake, and picking us up and dropping us off at the train station. The place is very cozy with everything you’d need, peaceful, and well located to public transport, grocery stores, and even hikes. Definitely will be back!

Alice's house was just great. It was extremely well equipped. And it was so homely. The bus was good but only comes about once each hour. Alice gave lots of helpful instructions. We loved it.

Everything was perfect! The apartment is beautiful, with an amazing view of the sea. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

Our stay with Britta and Rüüd was wonderful! Just as we had imagined our stay. The studio is somewhat secluded in the courtyard. We were greeted directly by three nice dogs and Rüüd and led to the accommodation. After a quick introduction, we had the back of the yard overlooking the horses and mountains for the rest of the stay, except for 1-2 pleasant visits from the four-legged friends. It was a quiet and very relaxing stay, which we would recommend to anyone who needs a few days of rest from the hustle and bustle. There is now also a ladle in the small but fine kitchen :) thanks to Britta and especially Rüüd for the hospitality and the great and unique accommodation!

The accommodation doesn't look great, you can also sleep there super. Bed is great, beautiful view from the terrace, kitchen well equipped. You feel at home thanks to Slavka. We will definitely come back 🦆🦆

We had a fabulous weekend here. Every detail in the place suggests that it was designed with heart and soul, sophisticated and fully equipped. You simply can't get enough of the panorama - it's stunning! The electric bikes gave a huge plus, it was a fantastic experience to cycle on the Danube bank. We can't wait to come back!

Irma offers a comfy and traditional location, settled in a picturesque area outside of the hustle and bustle, with birds chirping and nature all around. The house has a cozy charm and feels like a true countryside escape — peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by greenery. It’s the kind of place where you instantly slow down and relax. The accommodation is well equipped, comfortable, and nicely set up. Everything we needed was there, from a functional kitchen to a relaxing outdoor space, and it was clear that attention had been paid to detail in both decor and practicality. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the little touches that made the stay feel homely and welcoming. We really enjoyed our time here and can only recommend it to anyone looking for a calm getaway in nature. Whether you’re looking to unplug, take long walks, or simply enjoy a slower pace for a few days, this is the perfect spot. Irma was a lovely host — responsive, kind, and thoughtful.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay inTrin. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the natural beauty of the as well as the safe surroundings. We found it to be incredibly peaceful despite the fact that she said it might be noisier than usual because of a temporary detour. The apartment itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. Bedroom is perfect for two people and sofa bed in living room can accommodate 2 more comfortably. One of the highlights of our stay was the host, who was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our time there. The apartment is great place to start and end the Gletschermuhen trail as well. The trailhead is just down the road and we were ble to walk all the way up and down in 8 hours door to door. If you’re looking for a quiet place in a stunning surrounding we can’t recommend this place enough.

Lovely apartment in a peaceful environment with easy access to Skradin and Krka National Park. Gabriela provided very helpful information on how to find the accommodation and also helped with parking in Skradin. She provided little extras such as hand cream which was appreciated.

I had a very pleasant stay at Daniela’s: 1) the surrounding was very peaceful and feel safe and good bed ! It is very near airport and Daniela was kind to give me a lift to the airport as I had a morning flight. To Zurich, it is a train ride about 15-20min, you can get a 24-hour ticket if you are hopping places a lot on 1 day. Otherwise single trip was 3.5 CHF, trains run every 10-15 min daytime to Zurich. 2) Daniela bought me so much food for a person. Thank you ! 3) the only thing is that there is only one sink at the kitchen, no sink in the toilet. Either you brush teeth in the shower or the kitchen. And very clean. It has everything I needed ! Thank you for the great hospitality, Daniela !

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy, well-appointed flat. Loved drinking espresso on the patio each morning with views of the towering mountains. Really appreciated the air conditioning as it was pretty hot during our stay, but we were very comfortable. The neighborhood is far enough from town to have a quiet, tranquil vibe but close enough that you can enjoy the town and lake in just a short drive. Jose Manuel and his family were very welcoming and accommodating and they answered all our questions quickly. Highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in the Riva.l Del Garda area.

The place was very nice for my family and our dog. We enjoyed it because there was snow outside and we used that for winter joys. We visited the Medvedev sanctuary in Kuterevo which is very close to our place. The goddess welcomed us very kindly, warmed up the house for us, and at the end she prepared a gift for our baby boy. Any recommendations! 😀

From the first moment on, you will feel at home on the large farm of Ernst and his family. Warm, uncomplicated hosts, a lot of art and even more to discover. Supplemented by a guided tour of the glass and mirror workshop. Life is a wonderful lesson. If you like something special and an individual host, you've come to the right place.
