The colorful city of Wernigerode with its cultural and culinary offerings and the beautiful half-timbered houses is within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes). Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

Only 5 minutes from the spa park and the city center of Bad Sachsa, it is idyllically and quietly located on the Pfaffenberg - right on the edge of the forest. You can walk to the city center with numerous restaurants, shopping & medical practices in just a few minutes.

We, Yvonne & Stefan, offer you our centrally located, luxuriously equipped small "oasis of well-being" for up to four people to relax and more. Immediately after leaving the house, you are on the historic market square of the World Heritage city and can explore the city and its surroundings on foot or by bike. In the immediate vicinity there is a free lockable parking space as well as all public transport. The beautiful Harz Mountains are looking forward to seeing you!

This exclusive apartment for 2 adults and 2 other people with a large terrace offers everything for a great stay for a couple, a family or friends. The spacious living room with an open fireplace has a pull -out sofa. Here you can make yourself particularly comfortable and look over the modern 65 "Smart TV e.g. Netflix. Caution: There is a narrow spiral staircase from the entrance to the living area. It is not well suited for guests with walking difficulties and pets.

Gänsetrappe - Vacation in a monument

Immerse yourself in a world of the past. The Gänsetrappe is a 335-year-old individual monument in the old town of Ballenstedt. The house is detached on the approximately 1000 square meter property at the end of a dead end road. The originality has been preserved as much as possible and carefully combined with the contemporary requirements of a cozy vacation home. This beautiful apartment with its loft-like character allows an almost 360-degree view over the rooftops of the Schlossberg. In the center of the living area there is a beautiful fireplace with a side reading corner and a cozy sofa overlooking the flickering fireplace. In the entrance area, next to the daylight bathroom with shower, there is a small kitchenette with dining area for morning breakfast including a view over the old town of Quedlinburg.

A toilet and shower (of course with warm water!) are available in the sanitary area on the property. A sauna with a wood-burning stove and panoramic views of the river is also available to all guests. There are many hiking trails and interesting sights to visit nearby.

Hainrode is an idyllic village in the South Harz Biosphere Reserve. The access road ends here, so there's no through traffic! Our camp is located at the end of the village, surrounded by old orchards with stunning views of meadows and forests. There are numerous hiking trails, as well as great opportunities for leisurely cycling or mountain biking to explore the countless trails.
