Relaxing time with relaxed hosts [Kamifu House]

시영Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
I spent 3 days and 2 nights in Furano in May! Because of the location, you should have a car if possible. There are convenience facilities such as convenience stores and marts near the station, but the nearest neighborhood is about 6-7 minutes away by car. There were also many good points. There were rice fields and fields around, and the mountains surrounding Furano were still covered with snow even in May. It was a place where I was satisfied just by waking up in the morning and looking out the window. Since it was the host's house, he was almost always at home, and we were able to contact him well. Check-in was delayed more than expected, so I told them in a hurry a few hours before arrival, but I was able to check in without any problems. Also, he told me that I could use the daily necessities or fixtures that he used, so I was able to ask for the necessary items and use them. Disposable toothbrush sets are also provided.🪥 Living with a family in their home was really interesting because I could feel how people from other cultures live. We even shared the kitchen and cooked together. I remembered when we talked about the kitchen, but the fridge is provided separately for guests in the kitchen. Luckily, the timing was good, so I cooked and talked with the host's family and friends. We made pizza and shared it together, having a fun lunch. He also lent us a brazier. I grilled the meat that I bought myself in the evening, and I ate and talked with the host, and it was an unforgettable night. It was really fun. I visited at a vague time, but it was a really good memory. The host was really kind, and the guest room was cozy and comfortable. The bedding was really nice. I've traveled to many places in👍 Japan, but the experience here was really the first time! The time I spent leisurely in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood was like a dream:) Personally, I want to come back again in winter.

Hill town Biei center (near Biei station)

Kinuyo (Kate)Rating, 5 stars1 week ago
I met Ayako and Kazuhiko and enjoyed my trip to Biei very much!I was able to talk about various things every day, and I felt as relaxed as if I was at home. They lent me a car for a day, and I was able to go to Asahiyama Zoo, which I didn't think I could go to. They made me an oshinko roll that I couldn asparagus, even though I don't like asparagus!and made a delicious breakfast that impressed me... it was really fun. Above all, the two of you had the best personalities and warmth!!It was fun every night. This is a place I would definitely recommend to those who are thinking of staying in Biei and are looking for a warm exchange.

R-01 [5-minute walk from Akahira Station] Room with a view of the coal mining town railway (Room 1)

CameronRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Kana's place is a real hidden gem. I was shocked to find that my stay in a small former coal mining town turned out to be one of the best parts of my trip so far. Kana is an excellent host who's experience as a designer is on full display in her Airbnb. It feels like a lived in home and that makes it much more welcoming. It has almost everything you will need for cooking and so on. She really puts a lot of effort to turn this old home into a great place to stay. Kana herself is extremely kind and fun to spend time with. I strongly recommend going out to a restaurant with her during your stay. It's an old home and this is apparent, you will likely see some bugs. Akabira is also a bit out of the way which means public transportation can be unreliable at times. Akabira itself has a great charm, friendly people, great restaurants, a cool museum and there was even an ice festival. Great price, it's worth staying here! I made lots of friends
