Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Custer County

My family (me, my husband, mom, and brother) loved staying here. The space is very relaxing- plenty of recline seating in the living room, comfortable beds in all three rooms, and the hot tub is a great place to stargaze. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen for cooking several meals in. Our dogs loved the backyard and the view is incredible from the front yard. Location felt secluded but only a 3 minute drive or 20 minute stroll to town. Charley was a wonderful, friendly, and welcoming host.

Would go back in the future. It’s a great place to rewind for a couple of days. The view is indeed spectacular specially if you’re new to dozens of miles of open plains and mountains. The house is on the foothills of a mountain. Tranquility is the name of the game in this neighborhood. Stores and things to do around this location is a bit lacking. 50 mins from national park.

Gretchen’s house is set On a lovely lot with arid landscape and Mountain View’s. The house is large, open plenty of Areas to lounge both inside and out. Beds are comfortable, 2.5 baths makes is groups friendly. Distanced fire pit was a favorite. Not much to do in the area beyond visiting the dunes which we really enjoyed as well as cooking in the very well appointed kitchen. We had a last minute reservation request which our hosts were able to accommodate for something extra. We appreciated that. Lovely home and stay all around.

It is a beautiful place and extremely clean. The kitchen is fully stocked . We were able to watch the deers in the morning coming across the property. It was a great place.

Spacious home at the base of the mountain in a tiny quiet town. Beautiful views and trails near by. We rent at least 2 homes a year for family vacations and the kitchen is the best stocked kitchen I have ever experienced with a home rental. I highly appreciated that. We enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely home: comfortable, quiet, and well appointed. Hosts were super responsive and welcoming. The setting is superbly tranquil - immersed in nature! The only minor inconvenience was a missing hairdryer …

My sister and I LOVED our stay here! We needed flexibility when we checked in, and Erin was SO flexible and kind to help. We loved the place and couldn’t get over the views. The farm fresh eggs were a life saver when we ended up in Creststone later than expected. And to top it all off, our car needed a jump when we left, and she and her husband were so helpful and accommodating. They truly went above and beyond. We cannot wait to visit again, and I cannot recommend this place enough for a getaway.

A quick night's stay was worth it. Westcliffe is beautiful and our room was perfect for a family of five.

This is a really nice place! It's spacious and very nicely furnished. The windows and deck provide very nice views. It was very clean and well provisioned. We will likely return.

Beautiful house and absolutely stunning views. Our stay was during the week of Christmas and Caramia even decorated for us. Caramia also very communicative, proactive, easy to reach and responded immediately to any questions we had. Our family had a great time. Sunsets in particular were breathtaking.

There are not enough 'Allowable characters' in this box to describe how magical the location is. The cabin is tucked away in a meadow with aspen trees twinkling gold, Evergreens towering, and the mountains whispering freedom and peace. The space has character only something build with love overtime could have. Every direction you look is a visual treat. If that was not enough, the space is filled with ever amenitie needed to cook a fantastic meal, enjoy a good night sleep or be entertained without leaving. Fun games, books and movies sprinkle the space. If you are like me the fenced yard for our four legged family members was a real plus. If dogs are not thing the patio is amazing looking out over the yard and you wouldn't know by the inside that pets are allowed. The hosts are amazing and attentive. Definitely book NOW!

This Cabin was Amazing!!!! My kids and wife loved it and the views are amazing. Beautiful scenery quite peaceful. I need a get away from everyday life and city life and this was perfect. I wish I could give it 100 Stars… worth the drive from Texas. I highly recommend this cabin to all and I hope it’s available again for us to come back to double dip. Thank you for everything Vanessa, you really do have a piece of heaven on earth and I’m glad my family and I got to experience it first hand.

Thank you for your hospitality! We really enjoyed your mountain home it was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful private wooded lot with a log home and all the amenities overlooking the mountains.

What a great house for our group. We were in the area for a Women in Rotary Retreat and the six of us had plenty of room for sleeping, spreading out, cooking, relaxing outside. Everything in the property is well organized and thoughtful and the kitchen is well stocked for food preparation. The views are fantastic.

This was a great place to stay. An extremely comfortable stay. Not too far from town, but still a rural place.
