We had an incredible stay at Waterfall Drive, Wongawallan. The property is an absolute haven — tucked away in the scenic Gold Coast hinterland, yet still close enough to shops and coastal attractions. The home itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and designed to make the most of the surrounding natural beauty. Waking up each morning to the sounds of nature and expansive views of the rolling hills was a true highlight. The outdoor areas are stunning, perfect for relaxing with a coffee or wine, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it feel like your own private retreat. Inside, the layout is both functional and luxurious — ideal for families or couples looking for space, comfort, and privacy. The kitchen was well-equiped.

Amazing place! Doug and Deb's place is peaceful and comfortable. It is close to restaurants at Kingscliff and Casuarina or has everything you'd ever need to cook for yourself - we did a mix of both. The house is very welcoming and the beds very comfortable. There is a lovely walk to the beach and 2 cafes and there is also a dog friendly beach about 15-20 minutes' walk in the other direction. Don't miss Cubby cafe at Chinderah - a very short drive away. Go early to get a blueberry and lemon curd muffin - they're all gone by about 11am. All in all, we had a wonderful, relaxed 9 nights and highly recommend the house and its location.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay at Hilltop Retreat this week for us and our two dogs. A very tranquil and picturesque experience in the Scenic Rim. The house is very clean, tidy and well equipped with everything you need to make it feel like home. A very short drive to town and to the fantastic Golf Resort. We will recommend to everyone and we will definitely be back!

We found this place very well presented, with everything you could want to make your stay comfortable from laundry to kitchen and relaxing in the lounge or on the front porch.

We stayed here for my 40th and it was absolutely perfect. The property is beautiful and peaceful, tucked right next to a creek that made the whole experience feel extra special. The fireplace kept us warm and cozy throughout our stay, and it was such a treat to unwind in such a serene setting. The hosts were fantastic—super helpful and always quick to respond to any questions. You can tell they really care about making sure their guests have a great time. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing escape in nature! 🌿🔥

Beautiful and clean home. Has everything you need while you stay (minus dryer, which is stated). Unfortunately it rained the whole weekend so we couldn’t enjoy the yard but it’s well equipped for kids and very pet friendly.

Matt’s property is amazing! The house is very spacious and has everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Being right on the water is delightful, the kayaks and SUPs are great fun. Unfortunately it was too cold for us to try the pool but it looked fantastic. Stayed with our two small children and there was lots to keep them entertained, and everything we needed for an easy stay with toddlers. Thanks again Matt!

Beautiful property, a lovely atmosphere and very quiet. Loved being in nature, lots of birds, and we loved the donkeys, and the cattle were lovely to see. The hot tub was on point! We were able to relax in the hot tub and watch the sunset, it was heaven. The house was comfortable, clean and had everything you need for our long weekend. So picturesque. We would definitely go back for another weekend break. Thank you Black Cockatoo!

What an amazing find! Kate was a wonderful host — she waited for us even though we arrived late at night, and took the time to walk us through the property and point out all the important details. We all had a very comfortable stay and especially enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space. My furbaby had a great time too, especially with the lovely company of another friendly dog! Lana was super lovely, very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The place was very clean on arrival and great location. Pet friendly which was amazing for us as we are traveling with our cat!

We can't say enough about how much we loved staying at Debbie's place. The Tiny House was as beautiful as the surroundings and Debbie and Adam were so lovely and responsive to our needs. We really enjoyed meeting them and their delightful blue heeler who played perfect host to our beagle pups. Open air fire pits under the stars, hot water baths that were to die for, and a cosy and amazingly functional house were all unforgettably luxurious. We could have spent another week staring out at the serene countryside, listening to the gentle mooing of the cattle and visiting rustic country towns and first-class eating places. We will definitely be coming back!!!

Such a gorgeous, private cabin in beautiful surrounds. Super comfy and spacious. We all slept 10+ hours on our first night! Cohost Michelle could not have been more friendly or helpful. Loved the pool table and table tennis. And that it was dog friendly. Highly recommend.

Ryan’s place is very good value. It is a short walk (5mns) to town, the pub and beach; has plenty of room; has a secure yard for our dog; and is well-equipped, very well-presented and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Murphy’s Cottage in Tamrookum is set in a peaceful and serene location. The fireplace and fire pit were perfect for the chilly afternoons and evenings while the back deck was a calming and relaxing spot for that warming morning cup of coffee. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the BBQ makes is easy to self- cater for the weekend. Short drives through the beautiful countryside to Rathdowney and Boonah make this an ideal location for day trips. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming country cottage.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. We took our little dog & spent so much time just relaxing on the deck and under the lime trees. Definitely recommend if you want a peaceful comfortable getaway.

John was amazing welcoming us to his place, we were blown away at the pristine nature of the place, with all the little touches to make it feel lome home. We stayed for a day to attend a wedding nearby but wished we stayed longer - thanks again John!

We just spent 3 nights at Two Rabbit Hill and couldn't recommend this place highly enough. We had such a great stay. The property is so beautiful from the cabins, to the furnishings to the picturesque views all around the property. It was quiet, peaceful & had everything we needed. We went with our son & his wife and we both brought our dogs, who had an absolute ball. It was so comforting to know that the property was 100% fully fenced, so didn't worry about them getting out. There are gorgeous horses that come up to the fence and lot's of roos too! Joanne met us as we arrived and was very welcoming & helpful and checked in with us via the Airbnb app to see if we needed anything else. The attention to detail in the cabins is really lovely. We enjoyed our stay very much, Mark was a great host and very helpful, the place was lovely and clean and dog friendly. It’s also very central just a short walk to shops, restaurants and into surfers paradise.
