This was a wonderful stay! It is in a cute and quiet neighborhood, but a quick drive to Duck for restaurants and shopping. Perfect central location. The patio is gorgeous and the hot tub was so nice at the end of the day. Rhoda gave us lots of great restaurant recommendations, and set us up for success. They provide a beach parking pass and beach chairs/umbrella. She even wrote our names on a sign and mugs in the kitchen! It was all very thoughtful and appreciated. The airbnb is connected to the hosts' house, not a separate building, but they keep the only connecting door locked. Also, the door to the actual airbnb does not lock, but it was a very safe neighborhood so I wasn't worried.

This place must be a hidden gem. It was so close to everything that we wanted to do. The best part was sitting on the back porch enjoying the quiet and the greenery of the golf course. Very clean and comfortable. We felt right at home when we first opened the door. We highly recommend staying here. Cathy was so proactive and made sure that we were comfortable and attended to. We will recommend this place to all our friends and family. Not to forget, when we drove in one evening, we were met by one of the local deer in the neighborhood, watched the birds darting back and forth at the feeder and watched the rabbits run around during morning coffee. A great place to stay.

JB and Chris’ place was extremely clean and looked as beautiful as the pictures! Everything was exactly as they stated which made for an extremely enjoyable visit!

This is the BEST stay I've had using Airbnb in a very long time. The location was amazing, with the downtown Duck area a short bike ride away and the beach access across the street from the neighborhood. The indoor space and outdoor space were equally beautiful and we managed to see a bunch of wild critters while on walks to the sound access! We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will be back!!

Stayed here for Memorial day weekend. Richard’s place is about 200 feet from the beach which was more like a private beach with less people. Richard is very thoughtful and included almost everything you need for a beach vacation. Kitchenette does not have a stove and a sink but there’s an outdoor stove and a sink on the deck. Overall, liked the place and location and would stay again in future. .

Chris was Very welcoming and a thorough , responsive host . the place was simple and clean with a great atmosphere for relaxation and family time. had most of what we needed . And what we didn’t it wasn’t to hard to figure out an alternative. Loved driving on the beach and the exploring the false cape state park . Would absolutely recommend checking out mustang galley for your next destination vacation.

We had a great time during our stay at Southern Shores. Harmony is a very nice, easy to find and clean place to stay. It is a perfect size for two to three people. It has a nice kitchenette equipt with fridge, microwave, dishes, pans and a hot plate for cooking, but no oven. It is a fairly long walk to the private beach, but there is a parking pass provided. Robert is very responsive to questions you may have. We definitely recommend Harmony and will stay again. Doug and Lora

Jennie was very responsive and flexible with both check in and check out which we really appreciated! The space was super clean and comfortable, and exactly like the pictures. We really liked giving the chickens some treats on our way out! We walked to and from the beach a few times and enjoyed the provided towels and chairs. The area was beautiful and peaceful!

Inga was a wonderful host! Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The property was beautiful and it was nice having the pool just outside the door. The plums trees were amazing! It was very comforting to know she was an ally and she helped make our anniversary special.

Debbie-Lyn's place is a gem. The house was remodeled with detailed consideration for guests to live comfortably. Even the air conditioning vent on the ceiling has a plastic cover, then the air coming out of the vent does not directly blow to one's face under the vent. Debbie-Lyn and Christina were very caring hosts, always asking us whether there was something we needed during our stay. Like the house door sign says: enter as guests, leave as friends. If we ever come back to OBX, we will come back to Debbie-Lyn's place again.

We had an amazing stay! There were great recommendations which were very helpful, and they quickly answered all our questions when they came up. It’s close to the beach (walkable) and a great location between Duck and Nags Head. The fenced in yard made our stay with the dogs so convenient and stress free. We had an amazing time!

This is my second time staying at Anja's beautiful home. It's clean, peaceful, close to tourist attractions, & Anja is a lovely & attentive host. Wonderful as always. I never want to leave!

What a super adorable, cozy lil cabin this is! I had my elderly cousin with me who's never been in an Airbnb. He couldn't get over how clean. The outside patio is the perfect spot for morning coffee with all of God's creations around. Everything you need including a toaster oven and hot plate available for cooking. Plenty of dishes, silverware, pillows and towels. Lil bowl of snacks left for us was special. plenty of Keurig pods along with cream and sugar. When we arrived I wasn't sure which place was ours and I reached out to the owners. Carol called me immediately...... I was standing right in front of my cabin ☺️ I only wish I had been there for longer so I could have taken advantage of the canoes and kayaks that are available. I would, without a doubt, stay here many more times if in the area!
