Charming old farmhouse in beautiful surroundings. Quiet, peaceful environment was perfect for our gal's retreat weekend. We Have enjoyed the Homestead before and will definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer's home! Jennifer was extremely responsive during the whole process. The house is historic and the property is beautiful. It was very cozy for a winter visit, and extremely accessible to Roundtop mountain for a day or two of skiing. The master bedroom and bathroom are beautifully redone. Our family of 7 (3 adults, 4 kids) and 2 dogs fit comfortably in the house. We hope to make the trip again soon. Thanks for a great stay!

Our stay was excellent! Our host, and co-host were amazing. Communication was above and beyond! We loved the charm of the home, and felt safe. The location was close to shopping center and grocery stores. We will not hesitate to stay at Willow Mill again when visiting our family. Thank you Rick for a wonderful visit!

Modern and comfortable home. Extremely comfortable beds. Very clean all around and exceptionally stocked kitchen. We hope to stay here again next time we’re in the area.

We were in the area to handle the estate of a loved one and could not have found a better location. It was a fantastic respite from the stress of the day with comfortable furniture, a welcoming environment, and all the amenities we needed to relax after a grueling day. We had visited “the creek” previously and have returned because the setting is so calm and peaceful and the apt is so cozy and comfortable. Kristy is quick to respond and very accommodating with any requests. The deck is wonderful although the winter weather made it a bit chilly to sit out. We did walk along the creek both mornings as it was sunny but brisk. This tranquil spot is very close to our son so we hope to return.

Jazmin's place is just as she described. very clean, quiet and private! place was perfect for our stay for a family wedding 5 min from the venue. she was very responsive and helpful with questions about checking in early. she also msged to make sure we made it in ok! beautiful place! if we ever come back to the area we will prob look to see if her place is available!!

We recently stayed here for my wife’s birthday. We can not say enough good things about our stay. The building is stunning, the inside has so much character and is beautifully furnished and decorated. We tried to enjoy all the areas. Had a fire in the common room, enjoyed the hot tub while the snow fell and our room was comfortable! The bed and pillows in our room were the best we’ve ever slept on in a Airbnb before. So much so we read the labels and ordered the same set for home. lol the rooms are big and the bathroom and bath relaxing. We are already planning our trip back! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! The Hosts were always responsive and gave us great recommendations for the area. You will not be disappointed if you book your stay here.

Don and his wife were excellent hosts. They met us when we arrived and helped us settle in. The apartment is spacious and clean. It's in a safe, residential area. I would definitely stay again!

This space was gorgeous, inside and out! The host was responsive and, when we had a minor issue with the lock box, they not only resolved it with excellent customer service but also went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported. The only downside was an "old house" noise that was fairly persistent. A strong hum came from a vent most of the time we were there, but was even louder when the heat kicked on, and it did wake me up at least once. I'm quite sensory sensitive to sound. So, if you have a hard time relaxing with high pitched hums, it might be best to try a different room (we were in the Meigs). The hot tub, beautiful grounds, gorgeous river view from our window, elegant decor, and thoughtful instructions from the host, however, mean we will definitely be back (but maybe in a different suite, or if the hum is resolved in the future, that suite). Highly, highly recommend!

This is a gorgeous, historic property with upscale decor and lovely shared spaces. I only wish I had brought my wife with me — it has a very upscale, artsy and romantic vibe. The property has been beautifully restored, keeping so much original elements like steam radiators, wooden flooring, solid wood doors, and more! You could spend hours enjoying the details. That said, kitchen was modernly appointed, with everything I needed to make myself a steak dinner and a good breakfast in the morning. Room temp is easily controlled from smart thermostats, and I enjoyed placing my towel on the radiator and getting to use a warm towers after my shower. The rooms all have beautiful views of the river! And, there is a gorgeous shared patio space that includes a hot tub and grill—I didn’t get to enjoy since I was there on business. I look forward to coming back on a weekend getaway in the near future.

Beautiful place, clean, one bedroom with a Purple adjustable mattress, which was comfy. As in other reviews, the entrance is a bit away from the driveway (on the other side of the house) but that didn't bother us. The only negative was that we did not have control of the AC. I felt horrible because my internal temperature is whack so we had to keep bothering Lona about it! It's a great spot. About 35 minutes to Gettysburg, 45 minutes to Hershey, hour from Baltimore inner harbor, 2-ish hours from DC. Highly recommend. Nicely decorated, property was well maintained and had beautiful views.

This was our third stay and we continue to love the space that Joyce and Leroy provide so welcomingly. Everything was perfect- they have the highest standards for their beautiful rental. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat. Our kids feel like it's home away from home.

One goal for our stay this fall was to get away from the world a bit, and the Pamela's comfortable log cabin down the woodsy road did the trick. Although there are other houses around (and I imagine it's a busy place in the summertime), at this time of the year it was quiet, with occasional birdsong and squirrels on the roof. The nights were chilly but we were snug in the main room with the heater on - the outer, all-weather room was another story, but we didn't use it much. The cabin is 10 minutes from the town of Carlisle, which offers places to eat and things to do. The scenery was lovely on our drive to Shippensburg and to Chambersburg.

Had a really great stay! My family and I enjoyed the whole experience, would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a private/secluded getaway.

We enjoyed our stay. It is spacious and has enough bathrooms for 6 adults. We also enjoyed the game room and hot tub. The cabin has a lovely view and was not too hard to find. Hosts were responsive.

If you are contemplating booking this AirBnB, here is your push…BOOK THIS A FRAME!!! This is the perfect woodsy get away. The A frame is adorable, Lee Ann and Scott are so helpful, and you are in a great place to get to different hikes. You’ll be 30 minutes from Gettysburg and Carlisle, so you can still go out and explore the town or grab food. But you are still remote enough to unplug and enjoy nature! Highly recommend!
