House holiday rentals in Cumberland

we were a family of 12. the house was spacious which was important. the kitchen had everything we needed. the grandkids loved the heated pool in the pouring rain.

We absolutely loved it here, big house perfect for family gatherings with kids. The garden is beautiful, you can tell how much love and effort this family has put into creating this amazing space. Outdoor amenities were the best part of it, plenty of things to do and games to play for the little ones who enjoyed seeing the bunnies and deers grazing in the yard. Anna and her family were super friendly and kind, helpful and responsive, and to me that makes a huge difference. The kind of people you want to rent from. I would recommend this place to anybody, specially families, it wont disappoint.

Bettina was great- She gave us personalized tips about the area. She brought us an extra mattress for us at the last minute request. Helped us carry things in. Kind and responsive. The pool was fantastic but not gated from the deck - For child safety supervision was a must when near the pool. I loved the covered areas and chez lounges provided and a hammock off the master bedroom on a private deck- lovely.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and convenience of this property. So much so, that we considered buying a cottage in this community. Our stay was a luxury experience. Kate and Fohla were wonderful hosts and gave us personal attention as needed. We will be back!

This was a great location for our Vancouver island adventures. Pretty central to what we wanted to do. Cathedral Grove was close enough for us to visit multiple times, and the trip over to the Pacific coast was about what we wanted. Great hosts, were very quick to respond, and extremely helpful. House was great for our family, good amount of space, and lots of activities to do on rest days. Would stay here again if we ever come back to explore the area more.

Great little get away. Pool was awesome, hot tub was great. Great fenced front yard for the dogs. Back yard was quite big to be able to play with the kids. Very clean and tones of room. Ryan was great to deal with. Will definitely rent again on our next trip down. Thank you

I would highly recommend this stunning property for your next get away. Beautifully decorated spacious home paired with tranquil manicured grounds. Noting also that the pool and outdoor entertainment area is warm & welcoming to guests.

Lisa's sweet house on the water was the perfect retreat for my extended family to spend quality time together. The space itself is bright, clean and airy, and we really enjoyed lounging on the lawn chairs overlooking the water. High quality binoculars were available for us to spy on the pair of eagles that visited every day! The hot tub was fabulous too. Just a few things to be aware of - the upstairs loft space with the 4 single beds does not have a door, just a curtain, so noise travels into that room for sleeping children (or sensitive adults). The pool wasn't ready yet (open June 15 - Sept 15) which was too bad because it was 30 degrees the weekend we visited. Also the BBQ is very small, using little camping propane canisters so be aware if you're trying to cook a lot. However there were extra canisters available, Lisa kindly offered to extend our trip for a discounted rate and brought fans for the heat (no AC). We'd come again!

Kent's place is absolutely beautiful. Very well equipped kitchen with high end appliances. The beds are so comfortable, and lovely to have A/C in each room. This is a perfect property for two couples as it has two master suites with ensuites... walk-in shower in one, the other a nice deep tub! All spotlessly clean and fresh. With a stunning beach mere steps away, and a responsive host who is more than willing to provide ideas for restaurants and shopping...you really can't go wrong with this booking. I highly recommend Kent's beach house to anyone looking for a perfect get away!

We had a very relaxed stay at Barb's place, which is very clean, modern and tasteful. She always responded very quickly and made an effort to allow us an earlier check-in. Definitely recommend to stay here when visiting Campbell River, as it is also very practically located.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in such a beautiful space. The place is spotless and very well stocked. It is clear that Elidah and Ed have put a lot of love and care into their home. Our kids loved all of the nature and beach treasures and the wonderful selection of toys and books! Highly recommend. Thanks again!

6 girl friends spent 3 nights and it was perfect! Very clean, all beds were comfortable including the pull out sofa. Lots of space and seating. Great outdoor space for visiting and dining. Exceptional kitchen with lots of room for preparing meals and was well stocked. Short stroll to the water. We spent one of the days on Hornby Island hiking at Helliwell park and the rest of the time at beautiful Tribune Bay where there were only 4 other people! It was early June but warm enough for a swim. We hiked at Little Qualicum Falls on the other day and visited Coombs Market where we lunched at Cuckoo’s Restaurant which was excellent. This property was 5 star and the host was very friendly and responsive.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning beauty of Lindsay's beachfront property. The location is truly unbeatable—nestled right on the coast, with breathtaking ocean views that can be enjoyed both inside and out. Inside, the property is just as impressive. It's thoughtfully decorated, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We will most definitely be back!

Certainly one of the very best airbnb places we've ever stayed in. Comfortable, clean, everything worked perfectly and Tom and Denise were super responsive and friendly. Lovely quiet neighbourhood convenient for Comox and Courtney and many other lovely places to see. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved Arbutus Cove Retreat so much, we stayed twice in one week! The perfect place to relax between Powell River and Desolation Sound adventures. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay - it was exactly what we were hoping for!!! The log cabin is cozy and beautifully furnished. The cabin was very clean and all amenities were above and beyond. Loved our evenings at the fire pit and soaking in the deep bath tub!

We stayed here for 9 days with 4 adults and 3 kids under 6, including a baby. He was extremely responsive, even at 10:30pm when trying to figure out the fireplaces. He proactively noticed that our internet was out and came over to fix it while we were out. While he was there he noticed we could use a baby gate and fireplace gate so he went and bought some for the house. Aside from Tom being excellent the home was beautiful and nice. We've stayed at many Airbnbs and this was definitely a top experience!

Fantastic stay at Luke and Crystal's place! Nice to have a fully stocked kitchen with every imaginable gadget you would need for cooking and food prep. We were 4 cyclists on a 5 day cycling holiday so the use of the laundry facilities was greatly appreciated. BBQ is in top notch condition. And the use of the private and quiet backyard was a really pleasant was to finish the day!!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful beachfront house in Comox, BC. The location was absolutely stunning—right on the beach with breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Euudoxia was amazing - friendly and communicative, making the entire experience seamless from start to finish. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect escape by the ocean!

This place is absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable. A real home. Beautiful little touches for our furry friend who was traveling with us. The area has great walking trails, and is close enough to the town for everything we needed. Kelsi was helpful and very communicative, responded immediately to any questions we had. We would not hesitate to stay again!

Great place to stay, nice being close enough to downtown Courtenay that it is walkable, but also has a great neighborhood feel and close to the river. Would definitely return!

We had a great stay at Ryan’s place in Comox. The place was spacious, and a great set up for families - especially for young kids. We were close to parks, downtown and trails. If we find ourselves in Comox again soon, we would definitely look to stay at Ryan’s.
