Local boat restaurant, open all year round, can be accessed on foot in 5 mins, via the lakeside path. Only 8 min walk to Marciac centre, with shops and restaurants. Cultural activities including year round concerts at the Astrada, famous Marciac Jazz festival, local vineyards, and historic sites all within easy reach.

À Viella, dans le Gers, un gite 3 * spacieux tout équipé pour se déconnecter au calme, se ressourcer et profiter des nombreuses festivités estivales (jazz in Marciac, Tempo Latino Vic Fezensac...). Maison de 100 m², mitoyenne de la nôtre, avec jardin privatisé pour nos voyageurs, offrant idéalement deux chambres adultes, et deux salles d'eau. Une chambre enfants est possible mais en enfilade. Vous pourrez prendre vos repas sous le palmier, après une randonnée (départ de chemins à 100m).

Our gite is in a small village it’s 5 kms from the town of Plaisance. And 15 kms from Marciac and the largest European Jazz festival.

Twenty years ago, I fell in love with this corner of Occitania: the charm of the vineyards, the valleys as far as the eye can see, the calm, the building to be restored. I designed this house to accommodate our many friends and family. With Laurence, we bargain-hunted all the decorative objects, invented different decors for each room and created the comfort and cocoon atmosphere we dreamed of for our vacation. See you soon.

After a hike or cultural visits to the surroundings (Cirque de Gavarnie, Pont d'Espagne, Pyrenees passes and lakes or the International Jazz Festival in Marciac, wine route) you can relax on the terrace facing the garden, quietly, in the heart of the countryside.

Peaceful holidays between sea and mountain

Our apartment, ideal for a family of 4, is above a garage in a property with a separate entrance. Parking is available at the foot of the accommodation. We are located in a peaceful and quiet village with all amenities (bakery, supermarket, restaurants...) nearby (5 km). We are in a wine region (Madiran, Pacherenc); you can taste these wines in different areas. Mountain bikers, trailers, hikers... will find their happiness.
