Cabin holiday rentals in Crooked Creek

The cabin was lovely and we had a great time there . Communication with owners was easy and prompt. The cabin is hidden in the mountains , but easy to find and with good access . We felt safe . The cabin is 100 years old but beautifully renewed , without taking the feeling that you are in a traditional mountain cabin . We also enjoyed the nearby community and the kind people living in the area . We loved the stay and we plan to return .

This cabin was the perfect base camp for a week of biking, hiking, and trail running. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals (but lots of options within a 20 minute drive when we didn't feel like cooking!). We enjoyed being able to bring our dog along with us, and he loved getting to sniff around in the woods by the house. We hope to come back!

This was our second stay at the cabin. It is so restful and peaceful. Our 8 year old grandson had lots of fun catching fish in the pond. Patrick is a wonderful host and the fresh eggs are a treat. You can't beat the location!

Loved our stay here! Was beautiful and very peaceful. The bed and couch were very comfortable and being able to enjoy the hot tub and the fire pit made our stay even more relaxing. Would love to go back during the fall. Highly recommend!

Lola’s getaway in Lake Lure was a great stay. It’s very private with beautiful scenery. It’s about 25 minutes to the lake but it’s worth being the distance for the privacy. The owners are very responsive and very nice to deal with. Would definitely stay again.

This is a 5 star review only because there’s not an option for more stars. This place is incredible. The cabin has spectacular views of nature. Everything in the cabin is simple and beautiful. Jessica has thought of everything from welcome card and wine to robes and shoes for the hot tub. The cabin is a short drive to Asheville but don’t miss out on what Weaverville has to offer. Lots of local spots with great food and vibes. Our three day stay was absolutely amazing and we did not want to leave. Cannot recommend this place enough! We hope to visit again!

This little a-frame is PERFECT! My husband and I spent two amazing days relaxing and enjoying some much needed downtime. The place is adorable, clean, and really perfect for a getaway. They even left a few dog treats for our pup! And the WiFi is fabulous…in case you cannot completely disconnect. We will definitely be back!

My partner and I picked this spot for a much needed weekend birthday getaway. It could not have been more perfect! The hot tub was hot and ready for us on arrival. Although it is right next to the hosts’ home, it felt so cozy and private. When you’re on the back porch you feel like you’re suspended in the trees! There is also an adorable little fire pit nook, which we would have taken advantage of if the weather had permitted. All of the details are so thoughtful. Even though it’s a “tiny home”, we never felt cramped or crowded. The loft is also back open. I saw previous reviews that said it was closed. We didn’t need it but I’m sure others would like to use it! Both the couch and the bed are EXTREMELY comfortable, and there are tons of extra blankets of different textures for snuggling up. The towels were thick and plush, and they had nice high quality toilet paper! The kitchen is super well stocked and we cooked a full meal with ease. We will be returning yearly! Best cabin EVER!

I would recommend Alison to anyone. She was our first host this being our first time using Airbnb. We couldn't ask for anyone better. Not to forget the beautiful house and view. I will never stay in a plain hotel again. I didn't have to worry about me and my families safety at all. Thank you Alison.

We had an AMAZING stay at this cabin. We originally planned on going out to see the surrounding area, but after arriving and seeing first hand how lovely the cabin and grounds were, we ended up just going to the grocery store and staying in, except for one dinner out in neighboring Tyron NC. From the location to the amenities to the responsiveness of the co hosts, it was just amazing. We will definitely book this cabin again.

If you need a place to get away from the traffic and everyday obligation of work and just need a peaceful reset, this is the place. From the beautiful scenery surrounding you and the sound of the river below, you can feel the stress melt away. The cabin was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Catherine is a great host and very accommodating. We will definitely book again when we need to recharge and plan on trying to book in the fall because this place has to look amazing when the leaves start changing colors. Thanks again Catherine for a wonderful place and can’t wait to come see you and this wonderful place again.

We loved Wahoo cabin. It was Private, peaceful, clean, beautiful, and a location very central to all of our planned adventures. The host was very helpful and responsive- this trip left no room for my typical travel anxiety bc she was so proactive and prepared. The private river access was a nice feature I hadn’t realized was available and was amazing. We will spend more time there next time. We were able to kayak devils fork state park , hike table rock state park, hike bald rock, visit pretty place, and visit duke world of energy- all within an easy driving distance. We had a rain day on our trip and enjoyed spending time in the cabin playing games and streaming movies. The host was great! I can’t wait to come back..

Perfect in every way! Great location, felt private yet close to everything. Anything we could think of that we might need was there. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the sound machines! Very clean. Would be happy to come back and stay again!

This is a true Mountain retreat! The porch and view were amazing and it extremely peaceful. The drive up is a mountain road, and it is set into the woods, so be sure you're comfortable with windy, unpaved roads. The place was perfect for our girls trip. We were able to drive to both Asheville and Great hiking easily and the stocked kitchen made it easy to cook our dinners at the house, there is a grocery store about 15 minutes from the house. Comfortable beds and open living space made for cozy nights and mornings. There was a large storm while we were there that took out a tree and powerlines, blocking the drive and knocking out power. Heather had fantastic communication the entire time and made sure we still had what we needed and were aware of any updates. Easy and fast communication and check in/out. Would absolutely book with Heather again!

This place is such a gem!! So peaceful and cute, the place itself is very clean and the location is incredible. It feels very private despite being not far at all from town. Summer and Audra were wonderful hosts and the animals were so cute! Would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was an amazing place to get away for some peace and quiet! Michelle was proactive reaching out to us about our stay and so kind and responsive to our questions. She remembered it was my birthday weekend and made sure to ask how we were enjoying our time away from home. The place was so cute and the decor was very unique (love the sinks). Very clean! Will definitely visit again.

My family loved Kaci’s cabin and Brevard! We kept busy exploring in Pisgah National Forest and other local attractions, like Brevard Tubing and Oskar Blues Brewery, but we loved being able to come back and hang out at the cabin and enjoy its splendor. My son especially loved ping pong tournaments in the screened porch. We hope to be welcomed back!

This was the most amazing cabin that feels like a place that has been lived in-something I keep searching for and rarely find! Like your clean uncles cabin in the middle of nowhere. It’s hard to find, but when I do I’m so happy. Nick was very responsive and helpful-a very nice trip and a beautiful view-the view was worth the trip alone.

This place was very cozy and great for one person doing a solo trip. I would absolutely stay here again.

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and exactly as described. The location was peaceful and private, and the views were spectacular! Seeing a mother bear with two cubs in the yard was an added bonus! Candace was responsive and her instructions and directions were very helpful. We hope to return to this amazing cabin in the Fall!

The treehouse was breathtaking!!! So peaceful and so relaxing!!! I surprised my wife and I am so glad that I did!!! We took a day trip into Asheville that was great, too! We only stayed two nights, we could have stayed longer. Hartwell, the host, was very helpful. Five stars!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is incredible! It is a beautiful, thoughtful, and cozy home. I can’t say enough about how peaceful this place is for also being so close to in town amenities and hiking trails. All the host instructions were clear, every time I had a question I would read the guide first and my question was answered. We definitely plan on staying on our next WNC visit!
