Stone House in Normandy

In the heart of the Cotentin marshes, a pretty stone house. Located 10 minutes from Sainte-Mère-Église and Carentan and 30 minutes from the landing beaches. House with quiet enclosed garden and private parking. Accommodation on 2 floors. On the ground floor there is a large dining room, a living room and a fitted kitchen as well as a bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, a separate toilet and a bathroom with a shower cubicle. Land and boules games available.

The Cottage

Beautiful rural two-storey gîte in ancient Normandy Long House in tranquil location close to Carentan, Utah Beach and D-Day Experience Museum. Located in the Les Marais Natural Park, surrounded by wildlife including horses, hares, and herons. Beautiful swimming pool open end May to end August. You will have access to a games room with a pool table and ping pong. We are unable to accommodate pets. Please also check out our other adjacent gîte - called 'Les Etables' or 'The Stables'.

You can enjoy the calm of the place or let yourself be surprised by one of the many hiking trails. They will take you to the heart of the bocage, marshes and historical sites related to DDAY. We wanted to keep traces of the past of this place, while paying the utmost attention to your comfort. Our cottage is rated 4*.

Bedroom (140); one entrance with bunk bed (90) and in the clic clac living room (140); fitted kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet garden, barbecue, garden furniture. sheets and towels can be provided on request with extra charge
