Poplar Cove Retreat is a nature lover's paradise! Whether your interest is flowers, trees, birds, or rocks, you'll find it all in abundance. The house is located on our 80+ acre family farm where black angus cattle also reside. You may also spot deer, turkeys, and other wildlife. There are numerous bird feeders so you can enjoy birdwatching from several outdoor seating areas. The property is filled with paths through wildflower gardens and has expansive views of the surrounding mountains.

Cozy Country Cabin

We welcome you to our country cabin, a wonderful place for a couple’s getaway or quiet corner all to yourself. Enjoy the clean, country air and starry night skies away from city lights; on a quiet, low traffic road facing woods and farmland with field, pond, and forest behind. We are just across the field from a working dairy farm and less than a mile from the dairy farm store and creamery where you can find fresh meat, eggs, milk, and some of the country’s best hand-dipped ice cream!

Nestled on a beautiful East Tennessee farm, this cabin has a stunning view of a five acre pond. We have lots of beautiful outdoor opportunities to enjoy nearby such as the Obed Visitor Center, Frozen Head State Park, and the Lilly Bluff overlook. If you are a history buff, the Alvin C York State Historic Park, historic Rugby and Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary are all must sees. Of course if you're looking to relax and just enjoy some country life this is just the place to do so.

Shopping, restaurants and wineries in Cookeville too! You’ll love our tiny house in the trees and discovering amazing fun in the area.

It is less than 3 miles from downtown Cookeville including the historic West Side District, Tennessee Tech, and Cookeville Regional Hospital. The apartment is completely custom and unique in every aspect. You will have 24/7 access to the host who will go above and beyond for any need you have while still giving you complete privacy. This is a very private cottage located in the trees with a view of a beautiful private pond. You will have a large deck that faces the pond, private parking, complete kitchen facilities, washer and dryer, and a large bathroom. You won’t find a more peaceful & serene setting. The pond is stocked with 4 types of fish, so bring your gear. You can watch the hawks, ducks maybe even some deer. Everything you need is provided whether you stay a night or a week.

The Cabin is nestled by a shallow creek and faces 25 wooded acres that are ideal for hiking and enjoying nature.
