A 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk to Joshua Tree's best restaurants, coffee, shops and farmers markets. For hiking or rock climbing trips, this is the perfect location for easy access to the Park entrance and back into Town. You'll enter the property through a locked, private gate with a large front and back yard, fitting multiple cars. Both bedrooms have queen size beds where you will sleep soundly in organic, cotton, mattresses and clean white sheets. The kitchen comes fully stocked with cooking materials, a new stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and tea kettle. Spread out on the couch and watch your favorite show with a fully loaded Roku. Finish your book in the butterfly chair while overlooking the desert landscape. Head back outside and have dinner with friends on the large picnic table under twinkling cafe lights. Crack open your favorite drink, light a fire in the pit and watch the watercolor sunset turn into the magical, desert night sky. However you choose to experience the desert, we believe a special space created with intention can make all the difference. Totally private desert cabin. Guests have exclusive access to entire cabin and property. Private, gated entrance and private yard. Plenty of parking once inside in the property. Top priority is given to your privacy. Any communication/questions you need answered before or during your stay are easy by text, phone or email. Colorful decor offsets the stark beauty of the surrounding desert. The house The entire home and landscape is available to guests during their stay. We love to help, so don't hesitate to contact us with any questions before, during and after your stay. The house is located just 4.5 miles from the main entrance to Joshua Tree National Park, and about a mile from all the shops and restaurants in downtown Joshua Tree. Spend more time doing the things you love, and less time driving. The home is located 0.9 miles from downtown Joshua tree where you can find everything you need including dining, groceries, entertainment and more. The National Park border is just 4.5 miles from the house, so bring your bike if you like to ride. The Morongo Basin Transit Authority services Joshua Tree with shuttles that travel to and from the palm springs area connecting you to the airport and amtrak railroad. The home has two bedrooms with California King size beds. We have two air mattresses and additional bedding which can be provided as needed. The home has a beautiful polished concrete floor which is easy to clean, and keeps the place cool in the summer. Careful though, it can be very slippery when wet. We have video cameras installed outside of the house near the two front doors to aid in security of the house when we are away. The house is located just 4.5 miles from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park, and about a mile from all the shops and restaurants in downtown Yucca Valley.

Cozy Desert Escape in Joshua Tree

A wonderful back yard with a fire pit (please bring your own wood) and horse shoes is available for use, and a private entrance is provided for the guests. The rented space includes a stand alone studio apartment with a private entrance, access to the back yard grill, fire pit, and horse shoe pit. This is a stand alone private studio apartment directly behind the owner's home. The owner will be available to assist you with any issues you may have during your stay. The home is in a quiet neighborhood away from busy streets. Restaurants and shops are nearby and it is only a 10-minute drive to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Hike in the afternoon and enjoy seeing the Milky Way from the front porch. This awesome venue is located only 10 minutes from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. There is only one stop light between the venue and a super Wal-Mart or Home Depot. A short 5 minute drive will get you to the Crossroads cafe for some outstanding hamburgers. This space is owned and maintained by a local rock climber guide; if you are interested in a rock climbing adventure during your stay, please let the owner know! The apartment is outfitted with a pellet burning stove as the main heat source. If more than two guests wish to stay, there is an additional floor air mattress available. An additional charge of $15 per person per night will be made for additional guests (more than 2).
