We are nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside just between the city of Castelo Branco & Fundao. This beautiful yurt is situated right on the edge of our land. In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. Towels & linens provided. Discounts for weekly bookings.

The bathroom is enclosed for added privacy :) Enjoy a 20m2 south-facing terrace all day long. A morning snack is included in the price (fresh bread, jam, butter, coffee, tea, orange juice). The house is located on a fenced farm. It overlooks a lake, a pine forest and the Serra da Estrela, in a natural setting of great beauty. It has the right amenities for a few quiet days, with air-conditioning and electric heating, a refrigerator, a microwave, a small induction stove, an electric coffee maker, a blender, a gas grill and another charcoal grill outside, and a coffee machine (Delta capsules).

QUINTA DO PÉ LONGO - ESTRELA MOUNTAIN RANGE

Quinta do Pé Longo, 13 km from Covilhã, is an old animal shelter with panoramic views of Serra da Estrela, located in Cortes do Meio. This parish with spectacular views over the Serra da Estrela is known as the "Capital of Natural Pools." You can prepare your own meals in the kitchenette or use the barbecue grill outside. There are restaurants about 5 km away.
