Simba and I lived here happily for a while, and everything was custom-built to my liking (1st-floor apartment). Hidden between maples and bamboos, the chestnut cottage is located right on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water. Private entrance, free adjoining parking, not overlooked by the rest of the estate which consists of 30,000 m2 of a small private stable, a small cottage and our home. Ideally located 5 minutes from Nevers and surrounded by 1500 ha of Amognes state forest directly accessible on foot. Calm and nature predominate in this preserved place out of time.

The Cottage du Port

The house is a pretty workers cottage on the towpath sandwiched between the canal basin and the river Loire on the Loire à Velo cycle track. It is picturesque, comfortable and quiet with the bakery, butcher and épicerie within walking distance. We have recently installed a bike stand.
