Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in County Wicklow

Karen’s house was just what we needed. We were in Ireland for a wedding and were traveling as a family with small children. There was so much room to spread out and we had everything we needed. Thank you Karen for a wonderful experience!

We had a big group stay here, everyone pitched tents, we had a big fire every night and the facilities were great. We brought a generator, but if you have enough battery for a speaker and your phone, and can cook with a gas stove, I really recommend this spot for a big group. There’s a great big barbecue there too, and the sink and facilities for cleaning (and toilets!) were brilliant. Maybe families with young kids would really enjoy this place. Kids would be entertained, and a really nice, comfortable place for parents to enjoy some wine, fire and chats in the evening!

My husband and really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. Maurice was a brilliant host and everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until we left. And the dogs are just gorgeous! Highly recommended. Celine

Miriam and Tom were welcoming and friendly hosts. The bed was very comfortable and soft. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The house is calm and relaxing and Rathdrum town has a couple of pubs where we were able to have a good time, as well as a few restaurants in which we ate well.

Minmore Mews exceeded our expectations. The location was wonderful with a spectacular view of the countryside. Donal was a gracious host who suggested places to explore, that we would have not found on our own. Local food was wonderful. Highly recommend this place and only wish we could have stayed longer.

Very accommodating at short notice

Was a lovely getaway in which we could relax and enjoy the countryside. Would highly recommend this place if you’re looking to take a breather from the city!

What a beautiful cosy stay in a stunning setting. We were a group of 20 ladies who loved hanging out and catching up. Both Emily and William were on hand and really helpful and responsive to messages. The three dogs were gorgeous and were regular visitors with this dog loving group. The beds were cosy with warm rooms and electric blankets if needed. The fire pit was a welcome addition to the courtyard and the stove in the kitchen too as it got chilly in the evenings. There was plenty of wood available to top up the fires too. Gorgeous walks available.
