“I'll Just reiterate all the positive reviews posted already. This place is fantastic! I've stayed in few places that id say 'id give a flawless review', but this is one. The attention to detail is second to none. Their clever 'self built' design, as I found out when chatting to Jennifer and Mark, utilizes the space brilliantly. It really is way bigger than it looks and is finished to an extremely high standard. Bed is very comfortable and the space becomes very cozy very fast. The generosity of the welcome basket shows guests Jennifer really want you 'to make yourself at home' as she says herself. The WC and shower is just a short distance away and is great, as the water was so hot and instant, plus I had all the beautiful hens to follow me along. An all to brief night was had. I would recommend you book this lovely piece of tranquility.”
Stone walled self catering cottage, secluded, great views, excellent walks, close to Arklow and Wicklow towns. An hour from Dublin, Queen size bed and double sleeper couch, separate bathroom, kitchen/living room.Remote location, wifi available.
“We stayed at the Granary Cottage for one night, and it was the perfect escape from reality. Located a quick 15 minutes from Avoca town, the directions can be found on google maps and were easy to follow. The cottage itself is cosy, very clean with traditional interiors that created the perfect “peaceful getaway”. Sanchia welcomed us on arrival and showed us round the cottage, which was a lovely personal touch to our stay. The kitchen has everything you need to cook yourself a meal, and the woodburning stove kept us cosy all evening. We had a wonderful nights sleep as the place was so quiet! Breakfast on the decking overlooking the valley and Avoca town is a must for the next morning! To top it off, the homemade scones and raspberry jam waiting for us on arrival were a generous final touch which was much appreciated after our journey. Many thanks to Sanchia for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be recommending to family and friends!”
