The Little House Westport

CarolineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Perfect cottage for our family trip to Westport. Great location just outside of the town in the countryside and perfect for exploring the area. Spacious rooms, kitchen well stocked for cooking and good outdoor space. No WiFi but super DVD collection which the kids loved browsing through! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Juli's House - Seaside retreat with stunning views

CarolynRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We have just enjoyed the most relaxing mini break at Juli's house blessed by fabulous weather. The home & space Donal has created is nothing short of gorgeous. Everything you need is provided from the generous welcome pack, including a much appreciated bottle of wine, to the most comfortable bed I've slept in. Donal is an excellent host, friendly, helpful and caring of his guests. We enjoyed most just sitting, glass in hand, admiring the beautiful scenery & view. Perfect.

Pat mors cottage

ThomasRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This getaway is exactly what we wanted. The cottage was extremely cozy, and was quite charming. With tons of nature around us, no screens, and good company, the stay was incredibly relaxing. We had a great time thumbing through the materials and fun history of the cottage. William was extremely accommodating and was very responsive. We will absolutely be back!

Ox Mountain Lodge

SamRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Monica and Michelle were extremely welcoming and friendly. They got us set up in the cabin and feeling right at home. You couldn't pick a nicer spot, and it was made all the better by the friendly welcome! The cabin was clean and homely, had everything we needed, and set in beautiful grounds surrounded by things to do. Would highly recommend a stay with such lovely hosts! It's a shame we weren't staying longer! I could have laid in the hammock for a week! We are touring around the Wild Atlantic Way, and this has been a perfect spot for us to rest. Thank you Ox Mountain Glamping!

Hawthorn Farm Cottage

NealRating, 5 stars8 months ago
My wife and I stayed at John and Maria's cottage near Tubbercurry for about 5 days. John and Maria were very sweet and can-do. The farm is charming. The forest walks are quite beautiful and peaceful. John went out of his way with a nice welcoming bunch of goodies and his tips for places to visit nearby were terrific. We really enjoyed the nearby towns of Tubbercurry and Charlestown. Several terrific pubs and grocery stores nearby. We would recommend this cottage! The small, stone "barn" building next door is also rentable and quite charming! Thanks so much John!!!

Seaview Cottage beside the Western Greenway

MegRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had the most fantastic time at the sea view cottage. Great weather, lovely location with beautiful views, nice walks, great view of the stars at night and sunsets. We also found it quick to do little day trips too. Eamonn and Kitty were both so quick to reply and help us too. We definitely want to come back again!

Gearra Glanna (The Clean Garden)

MelindaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We arrived by public transportation, so our host, John, generously offered to pick us up at the train station in the neighboring town. He also gave us a fantastic driving tour of the surrounding area, showing us famous places of interest and even stopping by the grocery store so we could stock up -- taking his own time and trouble to do so. We spent a lovely evening with him at the local pub, soaking in the friendly atmosphere of Aghamore. One day he brought us some baked potatoes that he'd grown himself. I swear, they were the best potatoes I've ever eaten! We felt like we were staying with family. The house itself was so comfortable and equipped with everything, even giving us some eggs, fruit and bread to tide us over. The area is so beautiful and serene. Thank you so much, Breege and John! You're the best!

Sound of the Sea: Spacious 4 bed coastal retreat

NicolaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I am SO in love with Diana's home. We had 7 adults, a toddler and dogs and yet there was still loads of room. The rooms are massive, so everyone had lots of space to sleep, and the dogs could run around the grounds. EVERYTHING you ever need is there, toys for the kids, dog treats, every type of kitchen utensil and a gorgeous welcome basket. But there is a shop 300 steps away and loads of lovely towns nearby. The beaches were 4 mins away in the car each and just so peaceful, not full at all. I will be back and will be telling everyone about this peaceful place.

Ard Braonain; Perfect Getaway for Family & Friends

SarahRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Stayed here as a large group and it was the perfect house. The location is ideal - in idyllic quiet surroundings but only a 5 minute drive from the town. Also easy to get taxis to take children into town. House is much more spacious in person. We’ve used a lot of air bnbs across Ireland and this one was very special.

Grand View House Dromore West

AndreiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We visited Sligo for a chess club championship and chose to stay in this bungalow with our team. Our experience was fantastic from start to finish. The bungalow was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The spacious layout allowed our team to unwind and socialize after matches, and the peaceful surroundings made it an ideal retreat. The host was welcoming and attentive. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Sligo, whether for a sporting event, a family trip, or a relaxing getaway.

Charming Traditional Irish Cottage Louisburgh

KathrynRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The cottage is charming and comfortable. We had a lovely turf fire. There are sheep in the field outside. It’s a unique place to stay that really gives a feeling for the old rural Ireland — but with all the modern conveniences!

Hillview House

JoleinRating, 5 stars9 months ago
I had a lovely stay at Rosaleen and Tom's place. I particularly appreciated their flexibility. As I (and my friends) stayed for a month as a writing retreat, my emphasis and experience might be a bit different in this way. But for example, we used more wifi than the average airbnb-er and Rosaleen and Tom changed their wifi contract to account for this. We arrived at night and they had left some staples in the kitchen, which was much appreciated, as well as the amazing scones later on. The only thing I would say is that the house could use a proper deep clean - but with the caveat that because we spent more time inside this was probably more visible. I think with a 'normal' stay you'll spend a lot of time outside exploring the many beautiful things that county sligo and the surroundings have to offer (and there are so many for which Rosaleen and Tom also offered great suggestions).

The Wild Atlantic Lodge

KatherineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I think this was our favourite stay in Ireland. The cottage was exactly as advertised. The location is unique, beautiful and quite isolated, which is what we enjoy. Achill is small and we were never far from restaurants , pubs or grocery stores. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and after eating out for a month it was delightful to be able to cook for ourselves. The washer/dryer was an absolute bonus and very much appreciated. Teresa was able to help us with travel plans and suggestions for places to visit. She was friendly without being intrusive . We would love to return again in better weather. What a gem of a place!

Great House in West of Ireland!

MarlèneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Maginifying house, well decorated with an amazing view of the ocean. The kitchen is very well equipped with all necessary utensils. We were received with homemade bread and cookies as well as fresh eggs. Delicious! Don't hesitate to contact the neighbor because she's the one who makes them. The house is very well located for visiting the surroundings: Croagh Patrick, Achill Island, Connemara National Park. Máire can also provide an umbrella bed and highchair. Very good communication from Máire and Noreen.

Atlantic Lodge

DavidRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We loved this house. Spent a long weekend & even with typical west of Ireland wet weather we had a wonderful stay. House is top class and was a huge hit with all the family. Beautiful views of cleggan bay, only a 10min walk to the village, and the ferry to inisbofin. Brian was a real gentleman, top notch host. He has a super house, well maintained, with plenty of space. He was on hand when we arrived to give walk through of the house. Left us to our own devices but was available if needed. highly recommend this house and 5 stars to Brian.
