Bungalow holiday rentals in County Galway

What an absolutely stunning location. We enjoyed 4 days here with plenty of sea swimming and walks. The house itself was just perfect, beautifully designed and furnished, with every thing we needed. It was warm and welcoming. The bedding was particularly luxurious. Catherine was a fantastic host, giving us space and also very responsive to messages and proactive with communications. We very much enjoyed the fabulous sea views and being surrounded by breath taking nature. The house is a very short drive to the gorgeous little village of Roundstone (where there is the most fab little coffee shop!) and only about 20 minute drive into the bigger town of Clifden. There is so much to see and do in the area and the house was also perfect for lounging in the comfy armchairs and reading books. We can't fault our stay - 10 stars from us! Thank you Catherine. We would absolutely love to return!!

Wir haben eine traumhafte Woche in dem ruhigen und hervorragend ausgestatteten Haus verbringen können. Unsere Ansprechpartnerin war vor Ankunft gut erreichbar, empfing uns in der Unterkunft und führte uns in Ruhe durch das Haus. Ausstattung, Zimmer und Lage lassen keinerlei Wünsche offen und die "Garage" (kleines Nebenhaus) bieten mit Billard, Dart und Tischtennis auch beste Unterhaltung für einen verregneten Urlaubstag. Wir haben das Haus zu zweit bewohnt, können es durch die drei komplett ausgestatteten Schlafzimmer und die beiden Badezimmer auch für größere Familien empfehlen.

nous étions deux couples en vacances à Galway et sa région; la maison de Peter & Vicky fur absolument parfaite pour notre petit séjour; la maison d'abord est très agréable, moderne et calme, avec un Bow-window ultra confortable, à moins de 100 m de la mer, et environ 200m du centre du village où nous trouvions restaurants et commodités.. Avec Galway juste à porté de voiture, nous avons grandement profité des pubs ( King's Head!) et des boutiques.. nous espérons bien revenir !

Unsere Reisegruppe hats ich von Anfang an wohl und heimelig gefühlt. Das Haus und die Küchenausstattung waren sauber und ließen kaum Wünsche offen. Die Aussicht und die Stille sind wundervoll. Der Info Ordner gut sortiert, mit wertvollen Tipps und nicht überladen. Alles ist gut verständlich aufgeführt. Für Rückfragen war Patrick immer offen. Man fühlte sich nicht störend. Es war ein ausschließlich netter und freundlicher Kontakt. Wir können dieses Haus von Herzen weiterempfehlen und würden es auch sofort wieder buchen.

This is the most incredible, peaceful place. The hosts are very kind and responsive. Self check in was easy. The location by the loch is magical and the house so beautifully furnished and well-equipped (both the indoor and outdoor spaces). We could have stayed at the house all week enjoying the facilities and the loch, but we did venture out to the coast and some surrounding landmarks and found it a great base from which to do that. We would love to return one day.

Connie was an excellent communicator. My family and I loved the house, equipped with absolutely everything you would need for a stay, cooking equipment, etc. House was spotlessly clean and maintained. Beds were super comfy. The view was stunning. The location of Terryglass is fab for some food and drink. We are looking forward to staying again. The house was also super warm.

Very comfortable home in beautiful setting. Tastefully decorated and no clutter. Great range of books and binoculars to make most of great views. Bedrooms all queen sized comfortable beds. Downstairs large kitchen - fantastic aga and great kitchen table for gathering around - open to large sitting area with comfortable seating for all. We were large family group and was perfect for us. House actually much more lovely than pictures. Would highly recommend. Nothing negative.

The house is wonderful and in an amaizong environment. The owner John is very sympathic and prompt to help. This is a perfect adress !!! The only problem is that the house is managed by an agency (Connemara costal cottage) that itself have put the house in airbnb so that the house price is very expensive (the agency AND Airbnb take a significant amount of money). Furthermore, this agency feels offuscated to have to answer you if you have questions. It feels like if they just want to get the commission without feeling to have to do something.

Aoife is a great host who responded to questions in a timely manner. The home is situated in a beautiful location on Galway Bay and close to many of Ireland's famous attractions. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic property and location. The house is pristine well stocked and photos do not do it Justice. Gerry was the perfect host . Would definitely recommend this place a hidden gem

We enjoyed our stay in the house very much, spectaculair views and beautiful area, the serre is a cosy spot to read and enjoy the views. The bedrooms where spacious and the bed’s very comfortabel.

We had a wonderful stay at Eileen’s cottage! The views are gorgeous, the house is fresh and clean and comfortable, and the bathtub was a luxury addition. Eileen was attentive and available for questions. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
