Beachfront holiday rental in Coronado Island

Location, location, location. Michael’s home is where you want to be. Less than a block to the bay and a short beautiful block to walk to the ocean. The beds were so comfortable after a long day at the beach. The showers were great and never ran out of hot water. As a family of six, we found the space spacious yet homey. It was our first time to San Diego and we hope to stay here again, hopefully for two weeks next time. Thank you, Michael!

A Perfect San Diego Coastal Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Carl's beach home in the Pacific/Mission Beach area, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming beach cottage. The decor is super cute, combining cozy beach vibes with modern comforts, making it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn't be better! Just a short stroll from the beach, we enjoyed daily walks along the shore and stunning sunsets. The nearby restaurants and shops added to the convenience, making it easy to explore the local scene. Carl was an exceptional host, providing us with all the information we needed for a smooth stay. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. If you're looking for a perfect beach getaway, I highly recommend Carl’s beach home. Had a local stay here at Chung's home and definitely met all my expectations. Able to have my wife have her birthday getaway with family and of course the grandkids. Only caveat is having to leave. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful studio just steps from the beach—only about 15 feet away! The space is well-equipped with plenty of amenities and surrounded by family-friendly activities. It’s perfect for a family of four, especially with young children. The studio includes a pack and play and high chair, which made traveling with our toddlers so much easier. Everything was very clean and peaceful, and having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. Ginger was kind, helpful, and very responsive. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

Jose Luis has a great place for guests to stay. It is secure and provides a great view of the Playas de Tijuana. It is in a very convenient location and secure parking.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. My partner and I had a great stay at the beach condo. The view of the ocean was spectacular. The condo was equipped with everything you need for a vacation. We loved being able to walk to both the beach and commercial areas. It was great being lulled to sleep every night to the sound of the ocean.

The apartment was so close to all the restaurants and easy to get to anywhere within around 15 minutes drive. Tina was an amazing host and on hand to answer any questions.

Awesome place on the beach! Being able to open the screen doors to feel the breeze and hear the ocean made us excited to come back from exploring the area. Easy to get to the car in/out when needed. Beach access directly at the bottom of the apartment, using all the provided beach accessories Nick provided in the well equipped apartment. Plenty of bars and restaurants walkable, or even stores to grab a bottle of wine to stay in. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would definitely book again for our next San Diego trip.

We have stayed in many airbnb all over the world and this place, by far, is the most complete in amenities. It had everything you need and then some. We spent a lot of time just watching the view. This place is a gem.

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The home was charming, thoughtfully decorated, and exceptionally well-stocked with everything we needed. As a family of five with three young kids, we especially appreciated the ample closet space, comfortable bedding, and plenty of towels. The property managers were fantastic—super responsive and even brought us a baby bath partway through our stay. The location was perfect—walkable to great coffee shops and restaurants—yet still felt like a peaceful retreat. The two dedicated parking spots made coming and going a breeze. The view? Absolutely breathtaking—far beyond what the pictures can capture! Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was so relaxing. Our kids loved all the beach and pool toys provided, and the heated pool was a huge plus since it would have been too chilly in March otherwise. Check-in was seamless, and every detail was well thought out to make our stay enjoyable. We would love to return!

I can’t say enough great things about Daniel’s place! Firstly, LOCATION, very walkable to literally everything you need and the view from the balcony was incredible. Being steps from the beach was so convenient. He provided everything like beach chairs, towels and wave boards that we used. Daniel was very communicative about instructions and even communicated we could check in early if we would have liked. The bed was super comfy and you can’t hear any neighbors. We hated leaving because we could have stayed there much longer! My fiance and I are already in talks of booking this location again soon for another vacation because we felt right at home!

When we saw this listing it seemed like a no brainer, beautiful view, great setup for our family (two boys 9 &6), and right on the beach... The home lived up to expectations and was even better than expected. The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought into the rental: kitchen had all you needed plus kids plates, beach supplies, beach towels, easy to find remotes, all was thought out. Even the check in/entry instructions were super helpful, even if though there was 16 steps it was super clear. Already sent the listing to multiple friends to book on their own and my kids are asking when we can come back.

We really enjoyed are time at the beach house. It was a great location and very close to every where we wanted to go. It is absolutely a beautiful place to stay with family.

Georgie’s airbnb is beautiful and in a great location in Ocean Beach. There’s plenty to do nearby and easy to walk to. We had some trouble sleeping due to noise from airplanes, but this has less to do with Georgie’s Airbnb specifically and more to do with the proximity to the airport.

We loved our stay at Hans’ place in Ocean Beach. Hans was super responsive and sent us great instructions for arrival and departure. The house was just as we expected from the listing. You couldn’t get a better location if you are wanting to spend a lot of time at the beach and walk to local restaurants. It was also super quick to get to the zoo. My kids loved the sand toys that were at the listing! The air traffic in Ocean Beach is definitely no joke, but it does stop at night and with the sound machines we brought, it did not wake us up when it started back up in the morning. We would definitely stay here again!

Through over a decade of Airbnb experiences, spanning the globe several times over; this was our favorite stay. The pictures perfectly illustrate the space and check-in was an absolute breeze with numerous videos, pictures, and written instructions detailing what to do. Our host was proactively communicative and made it clear that their only goal was for us to have a great time. We found the space to be perfect for our young family, with numerous toys and a beautiful wooden crib. All of the appliances in the kitchen were clean, high end, and perfectly functional along with the outdoor grill. The Del is a 5-6 minute walk, Vons is a 5-6 minute walk along with Starbucks. Couldn’t have been a more private but in the center of everything location. We felt very safe in the late evenings and were never woken up by noise, regardless of the popular surroundings. Absolutely incredible stay - we didn’t want to leave.

This is my second stay, with my son, and it was great! We had a great time, great place to stay, great communication, great recommendations. We absolutely love it here! The warm outdoor shower and the view is the best!! Thank you for the great stay, as always! we hope to be back soon!

This IS the place to stay on Mission Beach. We have rented quite a few places there over the years and this one was THE BEST! Perfect location, beautiful interior, clean, modern, convenient. We will definitely be back and will recommend to other Zonies!
