Family-friendly holiday rentals in Coronado

We are so grateful to have been able to stay at Gwynn's place, it is so peaceful and lovely. Like a secret garden getaway. We loved all the small touches, and beauty of the space. Gwynn made us feel very welcome and comfortable! The pool is amazing and the outdoor spaces are delightful. Can't wait to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay with our 2 kiddos. Easily walkable to the beach and restaurants (Azucar is a MUST for coffee/pastries) and it was awesome having the wagon and beach chairs. Hot tub was great.

Quiet location, exactly as pictured and described. Parking could be a challenge if you have a large vehicle but being able to park in the garage made it easier. Great communication!

This was my second stay at Meaghan and Derek’s property, just me and my dog, Oreo. It’s the perfect place to rest and slow down. The quiet, combined with the beauty of the surroundings, truly helps to cultivate a peaceful mind and leave you feeling recharged. Meaghan and Derek are wonderful hosts—you can genuinely feel the love and care they put into tending their property. It’s a special place, and I’m grateful to have returned. I can’t wait for the next time!

We had a great time at this condo. I have 3 little kids and they loved watching the airplanes land and take off. It was a bit noisy at nights since the condo is very close to the airport and a railway. But we didn’t mind that. Location is very close to downtown, little Italy and balboa park. The property management communication was quick and efficient. We had an issue with the garage door but they were very responsive.

The house was extremely clean and easy to find. The home is central to restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, that are all in walking distance. Alex had clear instructions that made the check-in process super simple. The house is peaceful and quiet with space to relax inside and outdoors. Will definitely stay here again when n San Diego.

Our stay in Bird Rock was amazing. This rental was exactly what we were looking for. Super accessible to everything we needed. Short drive to beaches and restaurants (if you want to go further into La Jolla). Plentiful coffee, pastries, açaí bowls all around. It was great spending mornings on the roof top patio drinking our coffee and planning the day. 10/10 would stay again. Thanks Matt!

Can’t beat the location! Evan’s place was a perfect home base to explore Little Italy and the rest of San Diego. Garage was an added bonus so we knew we could safely park the rental car. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed.

We had a fabulous time at the Granny Flat! Everything was pristine and Kristen has thought of every amenity. She was kind and responsive. We loved the peaceful backyard with gorgeous views. The location is super convenient and a max of 25-30 mins to anywhere else in the SD area. Our pups had a great time, too! Would love to stay here again!

I am a repeat guest and appreciate the space, amenities, and helpful hosts! This visit I had an issue with the lock and with a faulty carbon monoxide detector but the hosts responded immediately and the problems were quickly resolved. Very responsive and they make every effort to make your stay enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. Olga was a great host , she and her son were very welcoming , kind and communicative. She talked to us about a lot of things on gardening and was kind to share some of her plants with us. The house was perfect for a small family including a dog and was tastefully decorated with antique pictures and paraphernalia. The area in an interesting quaint neighborhood and we loved walking to the restaurants around there for food and deserts .

This is such a gem located just a few blocks from Ocean Beach. You can’t beat the price/location. We didn’t have to move our car all weekend, everything we needed was walking distance to Edwin’s place.

I was looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to relax and recharge and this fit perfectly. Anita and Brian are great hosts, friendly and helpful but still respected my privacy. The setting is also beautifully landscaped and the deck was great to have for relaxing and enjoying the water view. I can highly recommend.

Anthony’s apartment was just what I needed for my adult son and me. 2 twin beds in the living room worked well as another bedroom without the cost of a 2 bedroom. The kitchen is small but had all we needed to make bfast in the mornings. Helpful to have a parking spot in back and washer dryer in unit. I really enjoyed the location next to an urban park, pretty neighborhood for walks, and short walk to restaurants and coffee shop. Anthony was super helpful when we arrived.

Our recent stay at Michelle’s Airbnb in Leucadia, California, was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Michelle has thought of every detail to make her guests feel at home. The property is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, and impeccably maintained, creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere that rivaled the coziness of our own home. The kitchen was a standout feature, fully stocked with everything needed to whip up almost any meal. From cookware to an impressive array of spices, we had all the tools to enjoy home-cooked dinners, which made our stay even more special. It’s rare to find such a well-equipped kitchen in a vacation rental! The location is perfect for soaking in the local culture. Right on the beach, we loved taking daily walks to explore the vibrant Leucadia community. The highlight, though, was watching the sunset every evening from the living room or deck—pure magic! The apartment was so close to all the restaurants and easy to get to anywhere within around 15 minutes drive. Tina was an amazing host and on hand to answer any questions.

The apartment is, well appointed, spacious & complete with everything you could want. The gardens are beyond beautiful, with lots of interesting trees and shrubbery and even a walking trail around the whole property. The pool is lovely and child safe. We felt very safe, there was an entry code for the front gate and another for our unit. The whole house is located in a beautiful, upscale area.

We loved staying at Wil’s place. The place was amazing, cozy and everything we wanted for our family. We loved the aesthetic, and the pool was so fun to play in. It was quiet but close to everything we wanted to do, so it was the perfect place to come back to after a long day out. The host and hostess were amazing, friendly and extremely helpful. We can’t wait to visit again.

We had a great stay at Tigg’s place. It was easy to get around, very walkable to get food or go to the beach. The studio had everything we needed. Would stay here again. Highly recommend!
