Farmstay holiday rentals in Cork

This was the cottage experience we were hoping for in Ireland! We loved the character of the cottage with so much thought put into every detail and texture. The art and decor were very tasteful and the amenities were good and practical. We especially loved making a fire each night even though we aren't terribly experienced at it! And the views from all the windows of the peaceful vegetation were so calming. And the private sitting areas in the yard were delightful - one with an ocean view! Their dog was sweet and friendly, too. The instructions for using the hot water were clear, but somehow we mixed them up so struggled a little with the shower but got it straight eventually! Aisling and Donagh were delightful hosts. A short drive away, Baltimore is a true gem of a town with breathtaking scenery and a rich cultural scene, and it even has a michelin star restaurant if that's your speed. Plus the fun algiers pub! We hope to come back again soon

Our stay at Matthew’s place was amazing. The area is very quiet and is perfect to have a peaceful relaxing time surrounded by a beautiful landscapes. Everything was clean and well-equipped. Matthew also gives very good recommendations for restaurants nearby! I won’t hesitate to come back here for a future stay!

Sinead and her family were beyond lovely! Such a beautiful home in a peaceful setting. We loved staying in the country and being near to so many amazing animals. We got to see brand new alpacas, baby sheep, chickens… and Sinead and her mom, Kitty were incredibly welcoming and warm. They gave great tips for things to see in the area and we even purchased gorgeous alpaca yarn and beanies from her. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. Thanks Sinead! It was a pleasure meeting you.

A little piece of heaven.. absolutely loved our time here. The Cottage is beautifully restored, very cost. Beautiful clean beach. we will be back...that's for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kevin's home, the house was as described and the location was great with lovely walks and views from the doorstep. The walk to zetland pier for a swim was the highlight for us, Hopefully we'll be back next summer.

We loved our stay. The location is beautiful and peaceful, adjacent to pastures and set in a pretty garden. The barn is tastefully decorated, the kitchen well equipped and very comfortable overall. We loved Coco the dog especially, who visited us every morning and made us feel right at home.

Ann and Donal were absolutely amazing. So welcoming and friendly! We made so many memories there with our children and we will definitely be returning. We were shown the farm, milked the cows, saw the kittens and a baby foal was born the day before we arrived. You can also walk the farm. We drank some of their fresh milk which was delicious in my coffee! It is a working farm so to keep that in mind and safety first! Thanks so much Ann and Donal.

We were welcomed so graciously, given a tour of the place, and learned lots about the area from Bernie, she was so very kind and lovely to chat with. The doggos were so cute and friendly as well. The view was stunning, bed was comfortable, and pantry was well stocked with delicious treats. We loved everything about our stay, thank you for hosting us!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Snug. It’s in a beautiful location and being blessed with good weather meant we got to sit outside in the evenings and enjoy the views and garden (as well as visits from Frances’s lovely dog Bear!) The place is really welcoming, the bed was so comfy and there are lovely organic toiletries in the bathroom. It was just so nice to kick back and relax. Frances was also really friendly and so helpful. She gave us some great suggestions of places to visit. We especially loved Barley Cove! I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to book here again when staying near Cork. The place is an absolute delight.

Amazing place. Very quiet and cosy but extremely well equipped and kitted for eating in and cooking. David and Martina communicated very proactively and made us feel right at home and even introduced us to their felines. Will definitely return.

spent a relaxing 2 days in the pod, didn't actually want to leave it. Even when it rains there its relaxing, listening to the rain and sitting inside looking out at nature. Thank you Michael and kerry for the opportunity to enjoy a stay at your pod.

We had a fantastic time the place was beautiful and so peaceful. Easy to get to places by car and there is a bus every hour to go visit surrounding places. Padraig was very helpful and gave us advice on how to get round. We had a visit from the dog who kept us company as an added bonus!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Chris & Phil's rural retreat. The property is vey well proportioned and has everyhting you need for a stay. The views down to Derrynane Bay and across to Beara penninsula are equal parts stunning and hypnotic. The various animals on site were a big attraction for our city living kids as were the activities organised at nearby Derrynane House. Chris & Phil are exceptional hosts who leave you to enjoy your stay but super responsive should you need anything.

⸻ Cozy, Scenic Stay Near Kenmare – A True Gem! 🌿🌊 We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully appointed container home just outside Kenmare. The space, while small and simple, has everything you need and is cleverly designed to make the most of its surroundings. Large windows let nature in at every angle — waking up to views of the river and surrounding greenery was such a treat. Our host was incredibly kind and thoughtful. She gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat and points of interest in the area. She even offered to drive us into town for dinner, which was above and beyond! If you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-focused stay with easy access to Kenmare, this is the perfect spot. It’s a unique experience — cozy, serene, and full of charm. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful suite and surrounding yard/farm area. Views are spectacular, and we loved admiring them with the company of the sheep. The suite was spacious and very well equipped - we appreciated the scones and snacks waiting for us on arrival. Paudie & Anne were very helpful with recommending day trips, including booking our excursion through the Gap of Dunloe for us, and providing their recommended stops along the Ring of Kerry. The location can’t be beat - quiet and private, yet still under 10 minute drive to all the town of Killarney has to offer - making it a perfect home base for everything you would want to do in Killarney and area. Can’t say enough good things about this stay - if you have the chance to stay at Paudie and Anne’s, definitely take it!

Kelly was a fabulous host. Setting was exquisite for the adventurous at heart. Great location as a home base for exploring the southwest coast of Ireland.

Rory was an excellent host. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome including some fresh scones, apples, bread, milk, butter and jam. This was very appreciated by us! The fireplace made the stay extra warm and cozy. We would recommend this AirBnB for anyone looking for a nice getaway!

Had a lovely few days away staying in Kate's accommodation. She was very helpful and great to deal with. The accommodation was perfect for a quiet getaway and met all of our needs, would recommend to a friend.

Beautiful location, the place was spotless and the beds are very comfortable as was the living area. We were only there one night and in-and-out the next day so didn't use all the facilities but I doubt you'd be disappointed. We ate at Willie Pa's just up the road and while the food wasn't cordon bleu, what it lacked in quality it made up for in quantity - great if you have a family to feed.

This was our second stay in Thomas’s place. It is such a beautiful, cosy and comfortable cottage. I highly recommend it.

we enjoyed Colette’s place to the fullest and were sad we only booked it for one night - the location is stunning, amazing views all around with ponies and cows next door :) spacious apartment with more than everything you could need, made for a perfect holiday :) she even thought about the kids and had some toys ready to play with! All that with super easy and nice combination made it a great experience - Thanks Colette!

This is a great location as a base for idilic drives or walks. The accommodation has a wonderful rustic feel.

We had an amazing time at Cecilia’s cottage. She provided some excellent instructions on how to find it and get in as well as good recommendations on what to do and where to eat around the place. The cottage itself was very cosy and we felt like we were home. Every essential was provided. I’d recommend 100%!
