This is a beautiful little self contained bungalow located at the back of my house. You will have everything you need for a comfortable and unique stay in this (very!) light-filled space. All the windows are leadlight and the soaring window at the front (from a 100 year old church in the Hunter Valley) adds to the distinctive charm. You will have your own access. You can park in the driveway or on the street (unrestricted on weekends and after hours. Otherwise its a 2hr limit)
“Isabelle, First and foremost thank you for hosting us, your home was warm, welcoming and then some. We never met you, although your personality shone through with the personal touches we found in this Airbnb. We found it to be very well equipped and hospitable. From the the fresh eggs and milk, to the large array of board games. The bed was like a cloud and felt it was very hard to leave it. Even though we never met you we felt your person and personality shine through your place and we couldn’t not but think let’s have a wine with this beautiful person and thank her for having us. So thank you!”

“The best place to stay in Newcastle. There is a good grocery store 2 min walk. Close to the beach. And has everything you need to cook and stay comfortable. Thank you David! It was a pleasure to stay in your place! Cheers!”
This new, architecturally designed, studio offers the very best in quality and innovation. The north-facing studio soaks up sunshine, starry nights and tranquility whilst nestled just behind Darby Street's restaurants, cafes and boutique shopping. Bar Beach is approximately 8 minutes walk and the city center is 12 minutes walk (including University of Newcastle Business and Law faculty and Law courts). The studio has separate rear lane access and private internal courtyard.
“Ideal place to stay should you prefer to experience thoughtful spaces with architectural interest and practical comfort. Great location so close to fabulous cafe's, restaurants, beaches and the centre of Newcastle. Usually when staying in such a fabulous location there can be a lot of noise particularly of a night but not here where you are nicely tucked away, it's wonderfully quiet ensuring a good sleep. Although staying awake during the night does allow you to experience the architects clever design of being able to look up into the night sky through the high feature windows, ...bliss.”
