Relax and make yourself comfortable in this wonderfully carved underground home. In the desert heat, enjoy the coolness and constant temperature the underground living offers. Walk in straight from the yard and covered veranda and enjoy the open space and comfort this home offers. We welcome most pets to stay, but please query with us first if your pet is allowed to stay. You might even spot traces of opal in the wall and can find small opals in the yard where old miners cleaned their finds.

Originally my fathers place, a young man from Ireland, who set out to make his fortune in the Outback - mining for Opal - a story told over and over again of adventure, dust, heat and hope! Our dugout is located in a secure, quiet location with ample caravan/trailer parking. Walking distance to the Big Winch 360, Italo club, Drive In Theatre, tourist fun & Opal noodling areas. Inside has a kitchenette and outside has a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, open fireplace and dining area.The dugout has a spacious feel with high ceilings & offers an open living area with a king size bed and bath. A luxurious place to rest after exploring our town. There are stairs. Pets are not welcome.

My delightful and spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom underground home is located in a safe, quiet area of town and sleeps up to 7 guests. Clean and comfy, it offers a lovely feel and atmosphere of home. Linen, kitchen facilities and a washing machine are provided. The outdoor area is enclosed and has dining, a BBQ and a jacuzzi. This dugout is suitable for everyone particularly families and couples.
