Barn accommodation in Conwy Principal Area

We had a truly memorable stay at the cottage during our first trip to Wales. We were mainly looking for a peaceful and cozy retreat — and this cottage was perfect for that. While we didn’t plan to explore much, we did visit Portmeirion and a few nearby villages. The location is great, with easy access to many activities if you’re looking for more adventure.The cottage was beautiful,very clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged. Though it can host up to six people, it was just the two of us, and we did find ourselves wishing our friends were there to share the experience. One of our favorite parts was sitting by the large front window, watching the train pass by and spotting horse and lambs in the distance. In the evenings, the views of the mountains and floating clouds were beautiful and the garden flowers added to the charm.Jeston was very responsive and helpful, which made everything even smoother. We made lovely memories here and would absolutely love to return.

Spent a wonderful couple of nights in a pristine cottage, surrounded by nature but also very close to everything N. Wales has to offer. Lliwen was an excellent host, proactive and responsive, and felt immediately welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

Woodpecker Cottage is a great base to explore the local area. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay. Nice touches like the Welsh cakes and jams made you feel welcome. Would definitely recommend to others.

What an amazing place to stay. The house was spotless, comfortable, everything we needed for a weeks stay for 5 adults. Maxine made the place so lovely and cosy. Maxine was so informative of the local area and gave recommendations to where to visit. Would definitely recommend Maxine's place, and would consider returning, so much to do and see. Maxine recommended spring and autumn times are good too for the area. Thanks Maxine for a very comfortable stay at Pay Maes.

Mirka and Rob were amazing ! The farm was beautiful! They were so accommodating! Even closed off a field so my dog who wouldn’t settle could have a good run and sniff with all the new smells! The stable was stunning ! The views of the landscape ! The sea! The sheep and cows were amazing! Spending the weekend waking up to this was so relaxing! Felt super safe!

A really beautifully tucked away accommodation, perfect for hiking and enjoying the area. Nick was really helpful and on call if I needed anything! The Dairy was clean and cozy exactly what I expected, I would’ve loved to stay for longer and hope to return when I next come back to Wales. The track to the Dairy from the village is alittle bumpy, but I managed fine in my fiesta with some careful driving, there is a parking space a few meters from the accommodation which is ideal if you have lots of gear to move ! We loved our stay with Nick and Charlotte. They were very helpful and made us feel very at home in beautiful surroundings. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub after a long walk in the mountains!

Would highly recommend - such a great property in a beautiful location. Extremely spacious - fab dining table and plenty of space to eat outside too. Just lovely! Host was very responsive and helpful.

All round a perfect stay, very clean and had everything we needed. Attention to the fine details such as maps and any information for snowdon. Lovely and quiet area and only around a half an hour drive to snowdon. Could not recommend more for the price.

David and Heather were very friendly, accommodating and just amazing hosts. Heather even went above and beyond providing us with home baked vegan goods 😋 it's a beautiful little cottage, we enjoyed watching the lambs from the balcony and taking in the scenery. so many walks to do in the area and loads of good food if you have a car and are willing to drive a short while. might well be the first Airbnb I make a return visit to

This was our second stay in Sarnau and we enjoyed our four nights as much as our first visit. The property is just lovely. In a beautiful location. Peaceful but easy to get to places. It’s extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean and with fabulous hosts where nothing is too much trouble. We find it a great location to do lots in the area and this time we visited the coast twice which is less than an hour away. Highly recommend and we hope to be back.

Lovely stay at Fiona and Richard’s place. The surroundings are beautiful and the barn has everything you need. Fiona was friendly and helpful. Lots of wonderful places to visit near by and plenty of walking. We had a very relaxed few days.

We had a wonderful stay celebrating multiple milestone birthdays in our family. Everything was exactly as described and the property, scenary and amenities where exactly what we needed and expected. Would absolutely recommend time and time again. Cordula even swapped out our towels mid-week and kept the hot tub maintained daily. As a bonus our kids loved running the entire length of the property and the parents loved watched them get tired doing it!

A gorgeous stay with lots of amazing walks within a half an hour drive. The barn was gorgeous - looked just like the photos. The only thing it was missing was a hook for wet coats (so that goes to show how amazing it was)! Absolutely would love to return soon. Thanks Jim!

Gorgeous little cottage in a fab spot, really central for visiting the whole of Anglesey. We loved being able to wander around the site and see the animals and the hot tub was definitely worth the additional charge. We appreciated the home made tiffin and fresh milk and all of the other thoughtful little extras that were included. Thank you for a great stay.

Amy’s house was so comfortable, cozy and clean you felt right at home from the minute you arrived. The location is very quiet with stunning views. Amy was very helpful and checked in to make sure our stay was going well. I would happily stay here again if we were going to North Wales again. The house is a short drive to lots of beaches and close to Chester and other main cities if you fancy a day trip. We enjoyed every minute! Thanks so much Amy!

Had a wonderful stay, the flat was perfect for my needs. The welcome goodies were a lovely touch.

We were a family group, varying from 18 months to late 70s and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and full of character. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was situated in peaceful and beautiful surroundings but conveniently situated for local activities. We visited Caernarfon, Beddgelert and Snowdon's summit during our visit. This was our second visit and we look forward to visiting again in the future. We highly recommend this beautiful property. what a wonderful cottage set in the beautiful Welsh countryside. The cottage itself feels like a home from home with plenty of nick nacks on the copious number of shelves in each room. plenty of books in the lounge to keep your mind occupied. Although the weather was a bit hit and miss during our stay, we did have a couple of lovely days of sun. we don't go to Wales for guaranteed sun!! If you are taller then this cottage is not for you. we are average height and had to do a lot of bending. There are also a lot of small steps which can quite easily trip you up when your concentrating on the low ceilings. However overall, this is a place not to be missed. I can imagine it being very cosy during chilly nights. A very unique place not to be missed.

Had the most relaxing stay at The Pigsty..The sauna was perfect especially after our walk up to the mountain summit. Cosy cinema nights which is a great addition to the Pigsty. Fresh baked bread from Toby for us in the morning…Was so tasty! Surroundings were kept incredible,absolutely spotless. What topped our stay was meeting Tilly & Nugget…going down to the lake with them (Thankyou Tilly for showing us the way ☺️) Much needed perfect stay away.Would highly recommend! Perfect private piece of heaven in North Wales ideal for couples looking to get away for a few nights. June is an excellent host; very warm, welcoming and cool. She introduced us to the property and herself and then left us to ourselves. June lives in the property next door and offered to provide any assistance if we needed it but also respected our privacy and only came onto the property once a day to check the hot tub (always when we were out). As a gay couple June felt safe and welcoming as a host. The building is a converted barn with lots of original features but was modern, clean and warm. The views from the private back garden are spectacular. Sitting in the hot tub at night under the stars was a highlight. Nebo is a quiet and peaceful part of the world to slow down in. Cannot recommend this property enough and will definitely visit again when we need some time away from the rat race. Bravo June!

Lovely two night stay with three generations of our family in a beautiful location . It’s a little isolated (that’s what we wanted and was as described ) but within an easy drive of all amenities. Excellent directions so easy to find. Helen has thought of everything with some lovely touches and supplies included. Looking forward to returning soon

Helen's cottage is a wonderful place to stay for a nice peaceful break in the picturesque village of Llanasa. It is the perfect spot to explore all North Wales has to offer and the stack of information provided at the cottage assisted us greatly with this. The cottage is immaculate and there is a patio area outside where you can sit and all you hear in nature. Helen and Sam are the perfect hosts and I would highly recommend a stay at their lovely cottage.
