The hostel "Casa Guama" is a beautiful colonial house built in the 1940s, with high struts and a constructive style that keeps the house in the colonial style that gave rise to it. We didn't have anything to do with Edy but Daniel was just amazing! He cared for us like family. The place was spotless clean when we got there and Daniel did everything to make us feel comfortable. The downside of this place is that there's no WiFi (Daniel manages for you go get WiFi in a hotel about 15mins walking in the centre). And for the usual power cuts in Cienfuegos it's recommended to bring power banks etc.

Marisols room was basic but adequate. She served a delicious breakfast for $5. Playa Giron has power for only 2-4 hours a day and no one has back up generators so that is an issue in the heat. It’s a small quiet town with a small beach near by. The carribean is beautiful and warm.

Sleeping in a house built in 1902 was an incredible experience, the architecture of the property was already worth a lot, close to the main tourist spots, it was also exceptional for the short time I stayed in the city. It was kind to let me in before check-in time, which made the whole project of my itinerary much easier. The city is well worth a visit

If you have the chance don't miss Michele'sfood, he is a great cook! We loved the meals he prepared. He is also good at giving advice, we really felt the love. Highest recommendations from us! The farm is amazing place to stay. Everyone was very nice and caring. You can sit on the porch with glass of mojito and enjoy the sunset while horses, cows, peacocks and other animals walk by. We cannot imagine better place to stay for our family.
