This is the back unit of a fully-restored 1850s German home in downtown New Braunfels. The footprint became a duplex in the 1930s and we left it as such. The living room contains a "truth window" - a section where we left the original German fachwerk exposed for those who admire old homes to see some of the original settlers' handiwork. This property is right downtown - restaurants and bars are walking distance from the house. Also close to Schlitterbahn, the Comal river, and The Float In.

Our quarter log cabin is nestled on 10 acres. It sits on a western facing hillside overlooking the Fischer valley. Its a great place to get away from the city and crowds! Its location is very quiet and secluded. Go for a walk down the hiking trails where you may see deer, squirrels, hummingbirds, roadrunners, rabbits, grey foxes, lizards, butterflies.... Relax with your favorite beverage on the covered front porch where you can see amazing sunsets and the stars at night.

Our cozy one room cabin is tucked away in a peaceful wooded area, accompanied by the sounds of a running creek just out front. This spot is a great place to relax and unplug from the busyness of life. Enjoy a stroll or hike alongside the creek, plop some chairs in the water and take in the sounds of nature. Kids enjoy exploring, wildlife and roasting marshmallows while snuggling up around a campfire. The experience is much like camping, not to be compared with a hotel.

The ‘Chalet’ is in the Timberwood Park area in north San Antonio - a great location for business travelers and vacationers alike. It has easy access to HW281 and Loop 1604, with Six Flags Fiesta Texas and the famous San Antonio Riverwalk just a short drive away. Apartment is small, bathroom is REALLY small (shower only), but we have everything you need to be comfortable.
