The location is perfect, close to everything but in a quiet area for rest. The host was very attentive, responded quickly to our doubts and gave us great local recommendations. The second floor of the house is an spectacular place to rest, we enjoyed a lot the sauna and jacuzzi too. Really a “hidden gem”, worth the money. For future travelers two pieces of advice: 1) I will recommend a big car (4x4) as the road is not easy and can be hard for a small vehicle and 2) Bring mosquitoes repellent as you will be inside nature with all that it implies. It is a place to rest, we were there 3 days and its location is very convenient to visit the surrounding villages such as Salento and Filandia. I feel it's the perfect place to rest after a long day of visiting and sightseeing. Highly recommended. As for the host very attentive to us and our requirements for our celebration:-)

The tour was absolutely incredible—I learned the full journey of coffee, from hand-picking ripe beans in the lush fields to roasting them in a traditional wood-fired oven, all explained with passion by our knowledgeable guide. We spent hours sitting with the entire family in their charming dining room, chatting about their multi-generational coffee farming heritage and sharing stories over cups of freshly brewed coffee. Breakfast and dinner were a delight, featuring hearty dishes all made with ingredients straight from their garden. The house itself was a hidden gem—pictures can’t capture the serene beauty of its private location, nestled among rolling green hills, with a cozy wooden porch perfect for stargazing. I highly recommend staying here and soaking in the warm company. The Colombian people, especially this family, are some of the kindest and most humble I’ve ever met, always greeting us with genuine smiles. I would stay here for ever if possible ! I highly recommend!

In terms of accommodation, service, comfort, among others, you get what you expect, very attentive, the place is very beautiful, the view is very nice. The only thing that was not so pleasant was the road from the village to the accommodation, which is about 1.5 km, since it is very open, it was rainy season and there were very large stones and I hit the car several times since it was such a narrow road there was no way to avoid it, it is not recommended for low cars and it would be good if this was reported by the host. Everything else is spectacular.

This place took about an hour to get to, up steep winding roads. The place is beautiful, the cabin gorgeous, the views stunning, and the hot tub hot. Everyone is friendly and helpful. There’s guided walks and so many options of things to do. But it is rustic and you do need to bring everything that you need. Do not forget bug spray! We even brought a blender which was such a good move. The cabin faces east so the sun will wake you up directly in your face in the morning. Bring earplugs and an eye mask if you are sensitive to noise and light. The birds are amazing and noisy!! The kitchen could use a few more utensils so if there’s something you think you need for cooking you should probably consider bringing it. Otherwise this is an absolutely phenomenal place to stay and I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

I only need to say that this in one of the best Airbnb I've ever been to. It's perfect in all senses. Amazing birds, a lot of nature, a river nearby, beautiful bed, jacuzzi, nice house, full kitchen, TV, places to explore, quiet, calm, and private. I can't ask more about this place. Thank you for everything.

Wow! From the moment we pulled up to the mountain garden getaway until we waved good-bye we knew we had found something special. Beautiful and functional space. So comfortable. Tatiana was so kind and helpful. Amazing host! We cant wait to come back.

It's a very nice and cozy house. Loved the view. It is a very peaceful and safe place. Everything was very clean and tidy. I'd always come back.

We arrived on an extremely rainy day, Nelson was all the way looking out for us, both on the way there and back. The house is equipped with everything you need to spend a couple of days away from the routine. The view is definitely worth it.

Excellent place for rest and relaxation. Being surrounded by nature and the songs of birds is key to disconnecting from the city. The host responds quickly. You must bring drinking water for consumption. It has parking.

Place is very beautiful, and DO take advantage of the nearby beach - it's hard to spot but it's really easy to get to and is only a 10 min walk. Cons: the stone staircase leading to the house might be hard for some people with disabilities to climb - it was no problem for us, but if you are physically disabled, I suggest mentioning it to the host so that they can prepare a solution. I also felt a bit overwhelmed with the volume of daily messages from host, but on the flip side, they were always available for questions and would reply almost immediately. Overall the place is exactly how it looks on the pictures and the cook Katia was fabulous. We ran out of food on our last day and Katia's husband graciously offered to shop for us, which was a very nice surprise and greatly appreciated. 10/10 would come back.

Our stay was spectacular. We loved the house and we all slept very well. We had no problems with insects and the hanging net was a cozy chill area. Edwin was very helpful, provided us with good excursion tips and sold us delicious coffee.

Everything was very nice, with privacy, Catalina was very kind, she was attentive from the arrival at the airport until the day of departure, she prepared breakfast and dinner and everything was very tasty, excellent location, highly recommended

We had a lovely stay! The mini house and grounds were exactly as in the description. The place is peaceful and allowed us to take it more relaxed for the last days of our trip. Simon was a great host (Angélica was unfortunately absent) giving us several directions to the surroundings and activities to do, in addition to great discussions about their project! Plan to do a grocery store ahead of time, the Monitos grocery store is mainly for the basics. Otherwise, feel free to order and have the restaurant delivered, we tried once and it was super good!

Beautiful place, perfect to rest and get away from the noise of the city, we loved it, and the attention and kindness of Maria Helena and Mauricio, make you feel at home.

A True Gateway to Heaven From the moment we arrived at La Puerta al Cielo, we knew we had found a magical place. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, facing a lagoon that reflects the sky, this place is a true sanctuary. Every detail—the serenity of the landscape, the magic in the air, the embrace of the stars at night, the seven leathers—made us feel as if we had entered another world, the one where “Connection, Love and Consciousness” live. We stayed in the Orion cabin, and it couldn't have a more fitting name. We truly felt that the stars were holding us up, as if the universe itself had lulled us to sleep on a sacred day. But what really made this day unforgettable was the kindness and care of our host, Carlos. We were welcomed as soulmates, with open arms and hearts. This place is an astral journey of the soul, a deep sigh of the being. Thank you… María Chully and Pao.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Airbnb. This was definitely one of my favorite places to stay. The view, the Jacuzzi, it was all an amazing experience. I would definitely stay here again in the near future. I will say if you enjoy heights. This is definitely a place for you. I suggest that you rent a motorcycle or have a vehicle. Because the incline to see the beautiful view is very steep. But that does not take away from how amazing this place is definitely 5 stars.

A super spacious, quiet, modern and private place. Just like in the pictures. It is very quiet, perfect for resting, and is surrounded by nature, which makes it ideal for disconnecting and relaxing. In addition, the host is excellent, very attentive and always willing to help, which makes the experience even better.

The place was much more than expected, the attention to detail, the amenities, and especially the good attention of Diana and Jessica make all the difference, the effort to make you feel comfortable and at ease are too noticeable. They are always aware that everything comes out in the best way, their attention is unbeatable. The cabin, the beach, the area, the possibilities of other activities with local providers, make this one of the best experiences we had as a family. Highly recommended place. A magical experience in the Colombian mountains! The cabin exceeded all expectations: cozy, clean, with breathtaking views and surrounded by nature. You can truly feel peace and quiet here — perfect for disconnecting and recharging. Martin was kind and attentive, giving clear directions and checking in to make sure everything was perfect. The beds were super comfortable the terrace a dream for morning coffee with a view.
