My stay was exceptional!! I had to other buddies with me (surf trip) and we all loved the property and all it had to offer! It was private and secluded but still felt very safe with 24hr grounds security at the gate entrance. Ian gave a list of contacts from a private chef to masseuses to choose from. He was actively responsive and extremely hospitable host. When we arrived he let us check in a hour early and notified me that one of the toilets was broken from a previous guest that stayed there. He was unable to locate a part so instead he installed a whole new toilet!!! Talk about going above and beyond as a host. They switched out the toilet in less than a hour! The property is located about 20 mins from the main city of Tamarindo with a nice scenic drive. If you are traveling to Costa Rica UPGRADED TO A SUV or TRUCK with 4 WHEEL DRIVE! Simply for commuting around the area and from town to town. I will 100% book another stay here. Ian is a 5 out 5 star host!

Exactly as it appears in photos. Host was responsive prior to and throughout our stay- offering recommendations, making a reservation for us and immediately addressing a maintenance issue. Clean and spacious. As a bonus- we were fortunate to spot 4 howler monkey right across from our front door. Definitely recommend!

Villa Melina was an incredible stay. The entire family thoroughly enjoyed every aspect. The place is impeccably clean, communication was top notch, they were always available for a question or a recommendation . We can’t wait to come back and visit!

My family of 6 stayed at this beautiful home a week. Al was incredibly thoughtful and made sure we had all the information we needed about the house and surroundings with recommendations that did not disappoint. The home had everything you’d need for a beach vacation—chairs, beach towels, kids’ toys, a ping pong table, books, Netflix, and even shampoo and conditioner. It really felt like we only needed to pack our clothes because everything else was provided! The kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances and ran on gas, which made cooking a breeze. We used the kitchen every day, and it was great to have everything we needed. The two back rooms are perfect for a family with small children, and even the living room is a comfortable spot to sleep in if needed. The pool was great and we were lucky enough to have it to ourselves most days. We also felt very safe. The house was even better in person than we expected—beautifully decorated, spotless, and inviting. Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough about Chateau. We traveled with a group of 30 (ages from 4 to 74). Of all the places we stayed, Chateau was the most memorable. It’s stunning. If you want to make memories, stay here. In addition to the beautiful location, the owners put us in touch with a chef and bartender, and we were able to make cherished memories during our last night. You will never regret staying here in my opinion.

We had an awesome time staying at Maitri in Tamarindo! The place was super clean, comfy, and had a great laid-back vibe. Loved hanging by the pool, interacting with the “el gato” the local cat, and having access to the beach club was a huge plus (great service)—perfect spot to relax, get in the pool, and watch the sunset. It's also super close to all the restaurants, shops, and the beach in Tamarindo, so everything was super convenient. Hosts were awesome and helpful. Would totally stay here again!

The photos says it all—Casa Caponera is next-level luxury. From the sleek, modern design to the glowing 25-yard pool stretching across the landscape, every detail is absolute perfection. The home is brand new and feels like a private Four Seasons resort. We had an unforgettable stay, complete with a private chef experience that was one of the highlights of our trip. Even with that, we still loved strolling to the nearby walkable restaurants, which were fantastic. If you’re looking for the pinnacle of luxury, Casa Caponera delivers in every way. Every room offers stunning views, the layout is ideal for entertaining or relaxing, and the outdoor living spaces are just as impressive as the interior. The lighting at night gives the whole home a magical, resort-like ambiance. Every amenity you could imagine is here—from top-tier appliances to spa-like bathrooms. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our return. Truly unforgettable.

This was by far one of the most beautiful AirBnB's we've every stayed at. It really felt like a mini resort. We had two families, and everyone was able to have their own room and space. Most of our time was spent in the gorgeous pool or in the outdoor kitchen. The pictures are accurate, but everything is more wonderful than the pictures. There is wildlife everywhere - gorgeous birds, geckos, howler monkeys down the street. The pantry off the kitchen protects your food, and we had no problems with bugs (we were told it was the time of year). We did have a couple of friendly birds that begged for food, but they were amusing to watch. The location, though remote, is in a gated community and was very safe. It was only a 10 minute walk to a beach that seemd almost private...not more than a few dozen people at a time on a beach that had to stretch for a mile. Do not hesitate to rent this place!!!

If you are looking for a wonderful condo, in a scenic and relaxing location with access to a little adventure, this is the right place for you. Playa Flamingo is a quiet and beautiful beach with both big and small waves depending on the time of the day. This condo community is also quiet while offering so many amenities. The staff are amazing and you never have to fight for chairs. The salt water pools and beach are just steps away from your condo. Dania is the perfect host. She planned our airport transportation, golf cart rental, surf lessons, fishing charter, and waterfall hike. Everyone was there (even early) when she said they would be. Costs were upfront. Dania really made this the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. Better than an all inclusive in my opinion. Rent a golf cart and easily access restaurants and grocery stores. Food prices are high in the area. We have 2 kids, 12 and 15 years old, and all four of us can't stop talking about what a wonderful vacation we had.

Everything you expect. Great home, great host. Very clean, nice pool. Excellent communication. Only the surf teacher that was recomended wasn’t that good but that’s not on the host in my opinion.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home in Tamarindo! It was perfect for our two families (7 people total, including 3 kids ages 5–8). The house was spacious, well-stocked, and felt very safe and comfortable for both adults and children. The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the beach and with a fantastic pool that we used every day. The host was outstanding, providing great local recommendations and even helping us arrange airport shuttles and excursions. Everything was seamless from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back!

We just came back from a week-long stay in this beautiful house. The pictures shown in the listing do not do justice, it is a very large house with plenty of room for 4 adults, the views from the pool and master bedroom cannot be beat, the location is great (listening to the howler monkeys at night was an added bonus), there was always plenty of hot water, and the pool is huge and was kept in pristine condition. The only slight negative we encountered was the requirement to not place any toilet paper in the toilets but rather place it in trash bags (we were not aware of this requirement prior to arrival). Other than that one minor surprise, we would definitely recommend Payton's house to anyone who wants a fun and relaxing vacation.

I truly cannot say enough about both our incredible hosts and the beautiful home. Nathalie was the most amazing host. Responsive, helpful, proactive with recommendations, assisted with all of our needs, and was just an incredibly kind human. As for the home, truly, the pictures do not do it justice. Probably one of the, if not the most gorgeous place I've ever stayed. I'm so grateful for our time at Casa Bö.

Patricia’s home was precisely what our group was looking for in Costa Rica—spacious enough for 9 people (including two couples), private and safe, full of amenities look cooking supplies, and responsive hosts. Patricia and Susan were more responsive than any host I’ve ever stayed with. They messaged us on Airbnb and other apps for ease of communication, and check-in, which was a breeze, included a tour with the property manager. They also connected us with the most trustworthy, affordable, high-quality transportation and tour company. The property was safe, well air conditioned, comfortable, and easily accessible. If our group finds ourselves in Guanacaste again, we’d love to return to Casa Bella Tortuga once more. You made my partner’s birthday and PhD graduation celebrations all the more special. Thank you!

This was our first time to Costa Rica and it won’t be our last. The villa was well appointed and exactly as described. It had everything we needed for our fam of 5 to feel well settled. Lots to do around the area especially if you rent a car. The A/C was frosty cold, the pool was great to cool off in and the beach is easily accessible. Just book it! You’ll love it.

Wunderschönes kleines Haus, mit super Lage. Alles wie auf den Fotos. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten und haben und super wohl gefühlt. Die Aussen Terasse mit Pool war super für eine Abkühlung. Die Gasgtgeber sind super nettund Antworten sehr schnell auf jede Frage. Da es unser letztes Haus nach unserer Reise war und unser Flug erst spät Abends ging, durften wir ohne Probleme oder Aufpreis einen late check out machen. Vielen herzlichen Dank nochmals dafür! Wir würden jederzeit wider kommen und können das Haus 100% weiterempfehlen.

Wow 10/10 Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la casita del mar ! Marie et Richard nous ont très bien accompagné avant et pendant notre voyages L’endroit est impeccable et le paysage vu de notre terrasse était magnifique Les petits bruits relaxants de la faune dans leur milieu naturel cetais extraordinaire, nous avons même eu la chance de croiser des petits singes perchés dans les arbres en revenant de la petite plage naturel à environ 3 km de la casita ! Nous avons reçu plusieurs recommandations de la part de Marie pour activités et restaurants , aucune déception faites lui confiance 😋 elle saura vous guider selon vos goûts Merci à Marie, Sara et Richard pour tout !!! À une prochaine fois assurément, si nous retournons au Costa Rica

Muy linda la casa. Mejor que en las fotos. Erik y Dominick muy atentos a nuestras consultas. Excelente servicio! El club de playa muy bonito. La pasamos excelente. Mi familia se sintió muy a gusto y el lugar bastante accesible, cerca de todo. Hasta mi perrita estuvo super relajada :). Ideal para familias con chicos, ellos disfrutaron de la piscina al 100%. Esperamos volver ya que nos gustó mucho el lugar. 10/10
